The Great Orme Tramway (Welsh: Tramffordd y Gogarth) is a cable-hauled 3 ft 6 in (1,067 mm) gauge tramway in Llandudno in north Wales. Open seasonally from late March to late October, it takes over 200,000 passengers each year from Llandudno Victoria Station to just below the summit of the Great Orme headland. From 1932 onwards it was known as the Great Orme Railway, reverting to its original name in 1977.It is Great Britain's only remaining cable-operated street tramway, and one of only a few surviving in the world, and it is owned by Conwy County Borough Council. The line comprises two sections, where each section is an independent funicular and passengers change cars at the Halfway station. Whilst the upper section runs on its own right of way and is similar to many other funicular lines, the lower section is an unusual street-running funicular. Whilst the street running section resembles the better-known San Francisco cable cars, its operation is quite different in that it adheres to the funicular principle where the cars are permanently fixed to the cable and are stopped and started by stopping and starting the cable, unlike San Francisco where cars attach to, and detach from, a continuously running cable. As such, this section's closest relatives are Lisbon’s Glória, Bica, and Lavra street funiculars.

The Great Orme (Welsh: Y Gogarth) is a limestone headland on the north coast of Wales, north-west of the town of Llandudno. Referred to as Cyngreawdr Fynydd by the 12th-century poet Gwalchmai ap Meilyr, its English name derives from the Old Norse word for sea serpent. The Little Orme, a smaller but very similar limestone headland, is on the eastern side of Llandudno Bay.

Maes y Facrell National Nature Reserve sits high above the coastal town of Llandudno on the Great Orme headland, in the county of Conwy, Wales. It commands sweeping views of Conwy Bay, and the mountains of Snowdonia. Designated a national nature reserve both for its biological and geological interest, it contains a mosaic of flower-rich grassland, and fragments of limestone pavement. There is evidence of past human activity everywhere, and old copper mines are scattered throughout the site.

The Halfway tram stop is a tram stop situated at the midpoint of the Great Orme Tramway on the slopes of the Great Orme in Llandudno, Wales. The Great Orme Tramway operates as a two-section funicular, and passengers must change at Halfway between the lower section (to and from the Victoria stop) and the upper section (to and from the Summit stop). The stop is also convenient for the nearby Bronze Age Copper Mines.As well as being the point at which passengers change cars, the Halfway stop is also the control centre for the Great Orme Tramway. The electric motors which drive the cables that propel the cars are located in the central building of the stop, as are the winchmen who control them.Trams run approximately every ten minutes to the Summit stop, and roughly every twenty minutes to Victoria, increasing to ten minutes in peak hours. Trams run seasonally only, from late March to late October.

Llandudno Victoria tram stop is the lower terminus of the Great Orme Tramway, situated in the centre of the town of Llandudno, Wales. The Great Orme Tramway is a funicular, which connects this terminus to the Halfway and Summit stops on the Great Orme.Llandudno railway station, the town's main line station, is a 15-minute walk from Victoria. Trams run approximately every twenty minutes, increasing to every ten minutes in peak hours, to Halfway station, where passengers change cars to the summit. Trams run seasonally only, from late March to late October.

Kendrick's Cave on the Great Orme, Llandudno, Wales, was the site of important archaeological finds by Thomas Kendrick in 1880. The site is a small natural cavern on the south of the Great Orme Head, a limestone massif on the seaward side of Llandudno (Ordnance Survey ref SH 78008284).Kendrick, a lapidary, was clearing a cave in his garden to extend his workshop. In the process he found a decorated horse jaw, flint artefacts, bear teeth with holes for use as beads or pendants and human and animal bones. A project in 2008 involving the British Museum, the Field Club, Llandudno Museum and Archives, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Historical Society, the National Museum of Wales, and Oxford and Bradford Universities reunited the once dispersed finds from the cave for an exhibition in Llandudno Museum.

Llandudno Lifeboat Station is located in the North Wales town of Llandudno. It was the only lifeboat station in the UK to have its boathouse located in the middle of town. Whereas most lifeboat stations are situated next to the sea for obvious reasons, Llandudno Lifeboat Station was situated in Lloyd Street, almost equidistant from both of Llandudno's shores. The reason for the unique situation of Llandudno Lifeboat goes back to 1861 when the boathouse was positioned so that it could be towed equally quickly to either of Llandudno's main shores. The boathouse was constructed in 1903. In order to accommodate the new Shannon-class lifeboat, a new boathouse was built on the south end of the promenade at Craig-y-Don. The new lifeboat "William F. Yates" (ON1325) arrived at its new home on 24 September 2017.

The Palladium is a former theatre and cinema, since 2001 a pub, in Llandudno, Conwy County Borough, Wales. It is a Grade II listed building.

Llandudno Town Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Dref Llandudno) is a municipal structure in Lloyd Street, Llandudno, Wales. The town hall, which serves as the meeting place of Llandudno Town Council, is a Grade II listed building.

The Llandudno Cable Car is an attraction in the seaside resort of Llandudno in Conwy County Borough, Wales. The cable car runs along the Great Orme spanning a distance of one mile forty feet (1.622 km) exactly. The cable car was opened in summer 1969, and has been operational ever since. The cabins give views of the Irish Sea looking over to Rhyl and the Isle of Man, as well as the Snowdonia National Park. There are currently 20 cabins in service, which leave each station at approximately one-minute intervals. The cabins are painted in red, yellow, orange, light blue and purple. The cable car is now owned by Kinetics Industrial Ltd. The highest point from the ground is around 80 feet (24.38 m). Nine pylons support the cable.

The Grand Hotel is a large hotel in Llandudno, Wales, overlooking the Promenade on the North Shore. It is owned by Britannia Hotels.
