St Mary's Church is a parish church in the Church of England in Clifton, Nottinghamshire. The church is Grade I listed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as a building of outstanding architectural or historic interest.

Trams run at frequencies that vary between 4 and 8 trams per hour, depending on the day and time of day. A half-hourly express bus service, the Skylink Express, links the stop to East Midlands Airport.The Clifton South stop opened on 25 August 2015, along with the rest of NET's phase two.In 2023, extension of the NET to Clifton South was listed in the Department for Transport's list of projects to be funded by the cancellation of Phase 2 of High Speed 2, despite the tram stop already being operation for nearly a decade by that point.

Meadow Road was a cricket ground in Beeston, Nottinghamshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1867, when the Gentlemen of Nottinghamshire played the Gentlemen of Lincolnshire. In 1870, the ground hosted its only first-class match when the Gentlemen of the North played the Gentlemen of the South. The last recorded match on the ground came in 1961 when Nottinghamshire Juniors played Derbyshire Juniors. The ground is today covered by a technology park.

The Boots Factory Site at Beeston, Nottinghamshire, England is the location for the headquarters of Boots UK Limited. The site was developed from 1926 as the manufacturing, packing and distribution centre for the pharmaceutical company developed by Jesse Boot. The site contains a number of significant buildings, including "some of the most important" examples of 20th-century Modernist design in Britain. The most important are the two designed by Owen Williams; the D10, 'Wets', Building, and the D6, 'Drys', Building. Both are Grade I listed buildings, D10 being the largest Grade I listed structure in Britain. The headquarters office, D90, was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and is designated Grade II*.

Beeston railway station is a Grade II listed railway station on the Midland Main Line which serves the town of Beeston in Nottinghamshire, England. It lies 3.2 miles (5.1 km) south-west of Nottingham railway station, and 750 metres (0.5 mi) south-east of Beeston transport interchange for local buses and Nottingham Express Transit trams. The station is managed by East Midlands Railway.

Clifton is a suburb and historic manor in the city of Nottingham, in Nottinghamshire, England. As of the 2021 census, it had a population of 22,936.Clifton has two council wards in the City of Nottingham (Clifton West and Clifton East as of 2018) with a total population taken at the 2011 census (prior wards of Clifton North and Clifton South) of 26,835. The location also encompasses Clifton Grove and Clifton Village, a residential area set alongside the River Trent. The Manor of Clifton was for many centuries the seat of the de Clifton (later Clifton) family, branches of which were in the 17th century created Baron Clifton of Leighton Bromswold (1608) and Clifton baronets (1611). It is now the site of a council estate. The village is also notable for many old buildings including Clifton Hall, which is the former seat of the Clifton family, and St. Mary's Church. Clifton is also home to the Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus.
