Falera is a municipality in the Surselva Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Falera is a part of the Alpenarena along with the towns of Flims and Laax and is the most secluded of the three.

Schluein (Romansh pronunciation: [ʃlwɛjn] ; Romansh: Schleuis) is a municipality in the Surselva Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

Laax (Romansh: Lags) is a municipality in the Surselva Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

Castrisch railway station is a railway station on the Reichenau-Tamins–Disentis/Mustér railway of the Rhaetian Railway in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It serves the village of Castrisch in the municipality of Ilanz/Glion.

Lag digl Obert or Lag Pign is a lake in the village of Laax, Grisons, Switzerland.

The Glogn (Romansh, German: Glenner) is a whitewater river in Graubünden. Glenner was also the name of a district in this area, which was annexed by Surselva District in 2001. The river rises near the border with Ticino and is surrounded by up to 3100m high mountains. The river flows through the Lumnezia. In Suraua, the Vals Rhine flows into the Glogn. After a few more kilometers, the Glogn flows into the Vorderrhein at Ilanz. In the upper reaches of the river has cut a deep gorge, which has uncovered black shale in a few places. During the snow melt and after rains the river water is usually dark gray.

Ladir is a former municipality in the district of Surselva in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Ladir, Castrisch, Ilanz, Luven, Pitasch, Riein, Ruschein, Schnaus, Sevgein, Duvin, Pigniu, Rueun and Siat merged into the new municipality of Ilanz/Glion.

Crap Sogn Gion (meaning Saint John's stone in Romansh) is a mountain (2,263 metres (7,425 ft)) and cable car station (2,216 metres (7,270 ft)) located near Flims in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Regarding the definition used in the Alps by the Swiss Alpine Club it cannot be called a mountain (nor even a peak with a strict definition) but only a location at the end of a ridge descending from the Vorab in the Glarus Alps. As the location has no distinctive peak nor sudden drops in its gentle sides, it is absolutely not an impressive mountain but even more a very appropriate place to run a skiing resort. Comparing to other skiing resorts in Switzerland the missing neighbouring mountains to the south - which is the location of the giant prehistoric Flims Rockslide – make it even more exposed to the sun even at the sun's lowest orbit in deep winter. A very small hut of the Ski Club Flims was the first building on Crap Sogn Gion, still standing there although hardly noticed. From 1962 the area was accessible by platter lift, followed 1967 by the then biggest aerial cable car with cabins to hold as much as 125 passengers, which is still in use today along with several modernised chairlifts. A more recent aerial cable car was built to Crap Masegn, from where another gondola lift leads to the glacier at Vorab, which made the ski resort a safe one in regards of snow even in winters of poor snowfall. For a walk in summer you may find Crap Sogn Gion on Swisstopo Map 1194, Flims, in the 1:25'000 scale. Laaxersee or Lag Grond is a lake in the village of Laax, Grisons, Switzerland. Its surface area is 5 ha (12 acres) and maximum depth 5.5 m. Fishing season is from May 1 to September 15. In winter, the lake is generally frozen.

Sagogn (Romansh pronunciation: [sɐˈɡɔɲ] ; German: Sagens) is a municipality in the Surselva Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

Ilanz railway station (German: Bahnhof Ilanz) is a railway station in the municipality of Ilanz/Glion, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) gauge Reichenau-Tamins–Disentis/Mustér line of the Rhaetian Railway.

The Dominican Convent, Ilanz, the motherhouse of the Congregation of the Ilanz Dominican Sisters (German: Ilanzer Dominikanerinnen), is located on a low hillside across the valley from the little town, roughly 30 km (20 miles) to the west of Chur in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.The striking convent buildings date from the early 1970s, but the community traces its origins back to St. Joseph's Institute, founded with an educational remit at Ilanz in 1865. Today the sisters at Ilanz are the core element of an international community comprising around 160 sisters, members of one of a number of congregations of Ilanz Dominican Sisters operating from addresses in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Outside Europe there is also one congregation in Brazil and another in Taiwan.
