Fashion District Philadelphia

8th Street station is a subway station complex in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, located at the intersection of 8th Street and Market Street in Center City. It is served by SEPTA's Market–Frankford and Broad–Ridge Spur lines, as well as the PATCO Speedline (signed by SEPTA as the "Lindenwold Line"). The entire complex is owned by SEPTA, while the PATCO areas are leased by the Delaware River Port Authority, which operates that line. 8th Street is the only station in Philadelphia where these three subway lines interchange. The complex consists of three stations, 8th Street on the Market–Frankford Line, 8th & Market on the Broad–Ridge Spur (also sporadically signed as "8th Street"), and 8th & Market on the PATCO Speedline. The complex consists of three underground levels, a mezzanine crossing the Market–Frankford tracks on the upper level, Market–Frankford trains running east–west and Broad–Ridge trains running north on the middle level, and PATCO running north–south on the lower level. Each platform has its own entrances/exits and fare control, but are connected via a mezzanine. For decades the corner of 8th and Market was a retail hub for the city, with major department stores Strawbridge's, Gimbels and Lit Brothers all located at the intersection and all containing direct access to the subway station. This underground connection now serves the Fashion District Philadelphia shopping mall, which provides indirect access to SEPTA Regional Rail lines at Jefferson Station, as well as the Broad Street Line via the Downtown Link concourse.

76 Place at Market East is a proposed indoor arena in Center City Philadelphia. It will be the future home of the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), moving from the Wells Fargo Center, which is currently shared as their home arena with the Philadelphia Flyers. The proposed arena will be located in Center City on the site of Fashion District Philadelphia. It will be privately funded at a cost of $1.3 billion. 76Devcorp is in charge of the development process and is being chaired by real estate developer, David J. Adelman.76 Place at Market East will be located one block from a SEPTA Market–Frankford Line subway stop and Jefferson Station, a commuter train station.

11th Street station (signed as 11th Street–Pennsylvania Convention Center on platforms) is a subway station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the intersection of 11th Street and Market Street in Center City. It is served by SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line and provides a connection to SEPTA Regional Rail at Jefferson Station. The station is part of the Downtown Link concourse, a series of underground passageways outside fare control that access stations on the Market–Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, PATCO Speedline, and Regional Rail lines. 11th Street also has direct access to the Jefferson Tower and Fashion District Philadelphia shopping mall, and also serves the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The Philadelphia Greyhound Terminal is the primary intercity bus station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station is located at 1001 Filbert Street in Center City Philadelphia near the SEPTA Regional Rail Jefferson Station and the Fashion District Philadelphia shopping mall, a few hundred feet east of the Pennsylvania Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market, a few hundred feet south of Philadelphia's Chinatown district, and within 1/2 mile of Independence Mall, the U.S. Mint, and City Hall. The station building, which underwent an interior remodeling in early 2007, is relatively small and nondescript, belying its importance as one of the busiest, long distance, bus-only terminals in the United States. As of 2013 the terminal was the 4th busiest Greyhound bus station in the U.S.The station contains a variety of amenities for waiting passengers. These include a snack bar, food and beverage vending machines, televisions, video games, pay telephones, and restrooms. Like other significant transportation facilities, it also contains full service ticket counters and seating areas.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is a historic parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, founded in 1823 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and located at 19 South Tenth Street, on the corner of Tenth Street and Ludlow Street. St. Stephen's was designed by William Strickland in the Gothic revival style. It is the oldest extant building in Philadelphia in this style and was designed by an architect-engineer best known for Greek Revival buildings, though, like his mentor Benjamin Latrobe, he produced buildings in other "picturesque" styles as well. St. Stephen's first service was held on February 27, 1823. On June 4, 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. On May 28, 1957, it was designated a historic landmark by the Philadelphia Historical Commission.

Philadelphia Chinatown (Chinese: 費城華埠) is a predominantly Asian American neighborhood in Center City, Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation (PCDC, traditional Chinese: 費城華埠發展會; simplified Chinese: 费城华埠发展会; pinyin: Fèichéng Huábù Fāzhǎn Huì) supports the area. The neighborhood stretches from Vine Street on the north; Arch Street on the south; North Franklin Street and North 7th Street on the east; to North Broad Street on the west. Unlike some traditional Chinatowns, the Philadelphia Chinatown continues to grow in size and ethnic Chinese population, as Philadelphia itself is, as of 2018, experiencing significant Chinese immigration from New York City, 95 miles (153 km) to the north, and (as of 2019) from China, the top country of birth by a significant margin sending immigrants to Philadelphia.

Center City East is part of the downtown district known as Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The area is generally bounded by Arch Street to the north, Chestnut Street to the south, Juniper Street to the west, and 6th Street (Independence Mall West) to the east. The area serves as one of the major retail centers in the city as well as the home of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The Globe Ticket Company Building was completed at 112 North 12th Street in Philadelphia in 1900 as a printing and warehouse facility for the Globe Ticket Company[1], which exclusively printed tickets. The building was liquidated and demolished in 1988 to make way for the convention center.The Pennsylvania Convention Center now occupies the site and all nearby land. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, and has not been delisted.The building was also known as the Hering building and featured an inscription to Constantine Hering, a homeopathic physician, in Latin.

The Trocadero Theatre (opened as the Arch Street Opera House) is a historic theater located in Chinatown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It offered musical comedies, vaudeville, opera, and burlesque. The Trocadero Theatre was refurbished for use as an art house cinema and fine arts theatre in 1970s, and by the 1990s had become an iconic venue for rock and punk concerts.

Jefferson Station (formerly named Market East Station) is an underground SEPTA Regional Rail station located on Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the easternmost of the three Center City stations of the SEPTA Regional Rail system, and is part of the Center City Commuter Connection, which connects the former Penn Central commuter lines with the former Reading Company commuter lines. While the station's official SEPTA address is 12th and Filbert streets, it actually spans two city blocks, from 12th to 10th streets just north of Market Street. In 2014, the station saw approximately 26,000 passengers every weekday.

Mail Delivery is a set of four relief sculptures by Edmond Amateis completed in 1941 for the Section of Painting and Sculpture and displayed at the U.S. Court House and Post Office Building in Philadelphia, now called the Robert N. C. Nix, Sr., Federal Building, at 9th and Market Streets. The reliefs are carved in granite and each measures about 108 inches (2.7 m) in height by 120 inches (3.0 m) in width. The reliefs show the efforts of postal carriers delivering mail to the "four corners" of America. The East and West reliefs flank an entrance on 9th Street near Market Street. The North and South reliefs flank an entrance further south on 9th Street near Chestnut Street. Noted photographer and former Philadelphian Carol M. Highsmith photographed the reliefs as part of an assignment for the U.S. General Services Administration.

The President's House was a mansion built from 1792 to 1797 by the Government of Pennsylvania and located on Ninth Street, between Market and Chestnut Streets, in Philadelphia, then the temporary national capital. Intended to persuade the federal government to permanently stay in the city, this house intended for the president of the United States never housed any president. In 1800, the property was purchased at public auction by the University of Pennsylvania for use as a new, expanded campus. The university demolished the building in 1829 and replaced it with two new buildings.
