Vårberg is a suburb in the Skärholmen borough in the Söderort region of Stockholm, Sweden.

Vårberg is a station in the Stockholm metro in the neighbourhood Vårberg in Söderort, Stockholm Municipality. The station was opened on 2 December 1967 as the south terminus of an extension from Skärholmen. On 1 October 1972, the line was extended to Fittja. Vårberg is part of Line 13 of the Red Line. The distance to Slussen is 12.6 km (7.8 mi). As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, the station features ceramic wall works entitled In our hands, created by Maria Ängquist Klyvare in 1996.

Masmo is a suburban district south of Stockholm and part of Huddinge Municipality. The Masmo metro station was opened in 1972.

The Fittja Mosque (Swedish: Fittja moské) is a mosque in Fittja, Botkyrka Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It was constructed with Turkish-style architecture.The mosque, which began to be constructed in 1998 and was completed in April 2007, is owned by the Islamic Cultural Association in Botkyrka, a mainly Turkish association with more than 1,500 members. The mosque is built in Turkish-style architecture, with a windowed mid-dome with birch wood panel and hand-painted tiles that cover the walls of the prayer room. The mosque minaret is 32.5 meters high. In the central prayer room, the women have their place of prayer on a 200 square meter high stand. The mosque also houses the residence of the imam of the assembly.In February 2013, the Botkyrka Islamic Cultural Association filed an application to the police to begin broadcasting the prayer calls from the Fittja Mosque. Since this is about repeated audio broadcast in public places, the case was with the police. According to the Islamic Society in Botkyrka, their request was for a short prayer call of 2-3 minutes, once a week, not five times a day as normal in Muslim-majority countries. In April 2013, the police authority issued a time-limited license, which was valid until March 20, 2014. The conditions for the permit were that the speakers, placed at the height of the balcony on the outside of the minaret, were to be directed only to three weather lines and that the noise level did not exceed 60 decibels.On April 26, 2013, at 12:57, it was the first time in Sweden that a prayer call from a minaret could be heard. This was performed live, not via a recording, by the imam Ergin Öcgem through the microphone and the minaret speaker.

Albysjön (Swedish for "Lake Alby") is a lake forming part of Lake Mälaren. It separates Botkyrka Municipality and Huddinge Municipality in south-western Stockholm, Sweden. The lake, which is filling a geological fault, has steep cliffs along the western shore. To the north it connects to Vårbyfjärden through the narrow strait Fittja näset. It is an important recreational area for inhabitants in the neighbouring suburbs Alby, Vårby gård, and Myrstuguberget, as well as for a large number of other visitors attracted by the Flottsbro Open-air Area and its bath in the southern end of the lake.

Skärholmen Centrum, also known and contracted as SKHLM, is a shopping center located in the Skärholmen borough of Stockholm in Sweden. The mall has a total gross leasable area of 98,000 m2 (1,050,000 sq ft), including of public services, and is anchored by ICA, Systembolaget, H&M and Åhléns. It was inaugurated in 1968 by Prince Bertil, Duke of Halland and has been refurbished a number of times, most notably in 2008, when it was reopened by King Carl XVI Gustav. It's one of five malls owned by the Grosvenor Group in Sweden, and attracts approximately 14 million visitors annually, with an annual turnover of SEK 2 billion.

Fittja gård is a former manor, coaching inn and station for post riders in Fittja, Botkyrka Municipality, Stockholm County, east-central Sweden. Fittja Värdshus, attached to it, was one of the largest travellers' hostels in Sweden during the 17th and 18th centuries. From 1660 to 1916 the Tingsrätt (district court) for the Svartlösa Hundred was located on the estate, and the present Fittja gård dates to 1812. According to the Stockholm County Museum, the buildings are well-preserved and valued as a cultural heritage. Fittja gård is the headquarters of a mångkulturellt centrum (multicultural centre) founded in 1987.

Sätraån (Swedish: "Stream of Sätra") is a stream in southern Stockholm, Sweden. Previously stretching 6 km from Västertorp and Segeltorp, Sätraån is today confined to the Sätra Open-air Area and approximately a kilometre long. The limited current discharge causes the stream to be reduced to minor temporary pools of water except during spring. Nevertheless, the stream is considered a valuable natural environment because of the ravine it has cut through the landscape and because of its location in a forest of recreational importance to the suburb Sätra.

Skärholmen is a suburban area in the district of Söderort in south-western Stockholm, Sweden. Together with Bredäng, Sätra and Vårberg, it forms the borough of Skärholmen. The community primarily consisting of Million Programme style apartment buildings from the 1960s and early 1970s. It is one of the larger and more well known suburbs of Stockholm. Skärholmen Centrum (also known as SKHLM), one of the biggest shopping centres in Sweden is situated in Skärholmen.

Skärholmen metro station is a station on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Skärholmen. The station was opened on 1 March 1967 as the south terminus of an extension from Sätra. The distance to Slussen is 11.7 km (7.3 mi). Skärholmen is the closest metro station to the Kungens Kurva area and its adjacent retail park. It is also expected to become an interchange station with the future Spårväg syd light rail line from 2031.
