The North Stonington Village Historic District is a 105-acre (42 ha) historic district encompassing the historic center of the main village of North Stonington, Connecticut. The district includes a well-preserved small industrial village, which flourished in the years before the American Civil War, and declined afterward. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Samuel Miner House was a historic house on Hewitt Road in North Stonington, Connecticut. Built in 1717, it was a unique and rare example of a house that was constructed of apple, oak, sycamore and chestnut wood, The house was destroyed by fire in April 2003. with a particularly well-preserved late First Period bedchamber. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Its earliest section dates to 1685, with the main block reaching its present configuration before 1720. The house was restored in the 1930s by early preservationist Norman Isham and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 1, 1978.

The station is owned and operated by Cumulus Media and is "powered by Mohegan Sun," the casino in Uncasville. The Mohegan Sun casino also hosts the station's studios. On March 17, 2008, WMOS changed its frequency from 104.7 FM to 102.3 FM, swapping frequencies with sister station WXLM.

Stonington is a town located in New London County, Connecticut. The municipal limits of the town include the borough of Stonington, the villages of Pawcatuck, Lords Point, and Wequetequock, and the eastern halves of the villages of Mystic and Old Mystic. Stonington is part of the Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region. The population of the town was 18,335 at the 2020 census.

The North End Historic District is a predominantly residential historic district in northwestern Westerly, Rhode Island. The area traces the industrial development of Westerly, with proximity to both its central business district as well as water-based textile mills, and stone quarries further inland. Most of the district's architecture was built between 1832 and 1955. The district is bounded on the east by High Street; on the south by properties on Friendship, West, Pleasant Streets, Marriott Avenue and Industrial Drive; on the west by properties on Pleasant, Canal, Pierce and Pond Streets; and on the north by properties on Pond, Pierce, Pearl, and High Streets, and Turano Avenue.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 20, 2006.

B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill is a historic cider mill located in Mystic, Connecticut. It is the oldest and only surviving steam powered cider mill in the United States. It is also the oldest continuous producer of hard cider in the United States.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is a hotel and casino complex owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation on their reservation located in Ledyard, Connecticut. Including six casinos, the resort covers an area of 9,000,000 sq ft (840,000 m2). The casinos have more than 250 gaming tables for blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker, and have more than 5,500 slot machines. The casinos also have several restaurants, among them a Hard Rock Cafe. It has been developed since changes in state and federal laws in the late 20th century enabled Native American gaming on the sovereign reservations of federally recognized tribes. Foxwoods has two hotel towers, with a total of 2,228 hotel rooms; and an arcade for children and teens. The original tower, the Grand Pequot Tower, opened in 1997, while the second opened in 2008 as the MGM Grand. It was re-branded the Fox Tower in 2013. In 2015, a retail complex, known as Tanger Outlet Mall, opened between the two hotel towers with 85 stores featuring luxury goods.
