The West DeLand Residential District is a U.S. historic district in DeLand, Florida. It is bounded by University, Florida, New York and Orange Avenues, encompasses approximately 1,000 acres (400 ha), and contains 375 historic buildings. On November 20, 1992, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Downtown DeLand Historic District (also known as downtown DeLand) is a U.S. historic district (designated on December 23, 1987) located in DeLand, Florida. The district is bounded by Florida & Rich Avenues, Woodland Boulevard, & Howry Avenue. It contains 68 historic buildings.

Conrad Center, also known as The Robert M. Conrad Research and Educational Center, is a museum operated by the West Volusia Historical Society in DeLand, Florida. It was built in 1997 by Mrs. Hawtense Conrad in honor of her late husband Robert. It includes exhibition space, a library, and space for meetings, classes and lectures. The collection includes approximately 100 oral history videos. The Conrad Center is part of a complex that also includes the Henry A. DeLand House Museum and Lue Gim Gong Memorial Garden (named for Lue Gim Gong). It is located at 137 West Michigan Avenue.

The Alexander Haynes House is a historic house located at 128 West Howry Avenue in DeLand, Florida. It is the oldest Queen Anne style home in the city. The building displays craftsmanship typically applied to large, formal residences. Completed in 1896, the building retains its integrity to a high degree.

The Stetson University Campus Historic District in DeLand, Florida was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 14, 1991. The district is bounded by Michigan Avenue, North Florida Avenue, West University Avenue and a line South from North Hayden Avenue. It contains 10 historic buildings and one historic structure. Elizabeth Hall is Stetson University's signature building, a stately building of patterned brick rising three stories, with a four-story central brick pavilion topped by a snowy white cupola. In the early days the tower contained a water tank, which supplied the campus with water until city water became available. In 1915 the Eloise bell chimes replaced the water tank, but they were moved in 1934. The first major building on campus built by Stetson's early benefactor, Philadelphia hat manufacturer John B. Stetson, it is named for his wife, Elizabeth. The south wing contains a 786-seat chapel, with a magnificent German-made Beckerath 2,700-pipe manual organ surrounded by stained glass windows. The chapel is dedicated to Stetson's son Ben, who died at the age of 6. Elizabeth Hall was the first campus building to be wired for electricity during construction. Total construction cost for the 1892 central portion and two 1897 wings was $125,000 - more than the combined cost of all other Florida higher education buildings to that date. The chapel remains Stetson's main concert hall, and is often used by lecturers as well. Those appearing on its stage have included: William Jennings Bryan, Basil Rathbone, Robert Frost, Jimmy Carter, Andres Segovia, Ralph Nader, Desmond Tutu, Julian Bond, and Buckminster Fuller. Stetson's School of Music also stages about 100 concerts on its stage each year, and brings a variety of visiting musicians as well, adding greatly to the cultural offerings of the community. Elizabeth Hall was renovated in 1991 and 2001, and is in excellent condition.

The DeLand Hall is a historic site in DeLand, Florida, United States. It is located within the Stetson University Campus Historic District, on the northeast corner of an entrance to the university at from North Woodland Boulevard (US 17/92) across from West Minnesota Avenue. On January 27, 1983, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Stetson University is a private institution located in Central Florida, along the I–4 corridor. Established in 1883 as DeLand Academy, it was later renamed John B. Stetson University in honor of a generous donor. The university's main campus in DeLand spans 175 acres and boasts Florida's oldest collection of education-related buildings, including DeLand Hall, the state's longest-standing building used for higher education. Stetson University offers over 55 majors and minors that lead to undergraduate degrees, such as Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Music. Additionally, it provides 18 graduate programs in areas such as Business, Law, Education, Counseling, and Fine Arts. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Stetson maintains a student-faculty ratio of 12:1. The university is composed of four colleges and schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Music, the School of Business Administration, and the Stetson University College of Law, which is Florida's first law school. Apart from academics, Stetson University offers various libraries, including the duPont-Ball Library, Dolly & Homer Hand Law Library, and the Innovation Lab. Stetson University's DeLand campus has also served as a filming location for movies and TV shows. Recent additions include a new science building and modern facilities like the Rinker Welcome Center and Carlton Union Building.

Melching Field at Conrad Park is a baseball stadium located in DeLand, Florida. The primary tenant of Melching Field is the Stetson University Hatters college baseball team, a Division I program playing in the ASUN Conference.

Edmunds Center is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, that opened on December 5, 1974. It is home to the Stetson Hatters basketball team. The arena is named after J. Ollie Edmunds, fourth president of Stetson University (1948-1967).It hosted the 1991 and 1996 Atlantic Sun Conference men's basketball tournaments. Many different celebrities and musicians have performed at the Edmunds Center over the years. Notable performers include comedians Bill Cosby, Jay Leno, Steve Martin, and Steven Wright; country music legends Hank Williams, Jr., and Mel Tillis; The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band; Spyro Gyra; and folk singers Harry Chapin, and Don McLean.

Spec Martin Stadium is a 6,000 seat football stadium located in DeLand, Florida. Spec Martin Stadium currently hosts Stetson Hatters football, DeLand High School Bulldog football and was the host of the Central Florida Warriors rugby league team. The stadium was known as DeLand Municipal Stadium from is opening in 1941 until it was renamed in 1973.

The Babcock Airplane Corporation was a short-lived aviation company from 1939 to 1945, located in DeLand, Florida.

The John B. Stetson House (known locally as the Stetson Mansion), built for hat manufacturer (and inventor of the cowboy hat) John B. Stetson, is a historic home in DeLand, Florida, United States. It is located at 1031 Camphor Lane. The house was designed by popular Philadelphia architect George T. Pearson in 1886. Pearson also designed several buildings for Mr. Stetson on the Stetson University campus, as well as the Stetson factory buildings in North Philadelphia. On November 21, 1978, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The house was extensively renovated in 2008 and, although a private residence, is open for scheduled tours.
