Hasle is a large neighbourhood of Aarhus in Denmark. It is located 3 km north-west of the Aarhus city centre and is part of postal district Aarhus V.

Hasle Church (Danish: Hasle Kirke) is a church located in Hasle Parish in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is located 3 km. west of Aarhus city centre and north of Åbyhøj. It is a parish church within the Church of Denmark servicing a parish population of 7.515 (2015).

Aarhus Vest (lit.: Aarhus West) or Aarhus V, is a postal district in the city of Aarhus, consisting of Hasle, Herredsvang, Møllevangen and Frydenlund.

Åbyhøj Church (Danish: Skt. Åbyhøj Kirke) is a church in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is situated in the western Åbyhøj neighbourhood on Silkeborgvej. Åbyhøj Church is a parish church within the Church of Denmark, the Danish state church, under the Diocese of Aarhus. It is a parish church in the Åby Parish along with Åby Church and serves some 11.000 parish members.The church was designed by the Danish architect Harald Lønborg-Jensen and inaugurated in 1945. The church is architecturally linked with a church in Løgumkloster from which Lønborg-Jensen drew inspiration. The original church spire featured a flèche but as construction took place during the Second World War there was a shortage of lead and copper which meant it could not be properly finished. In 1973 it suffered from rot and was replaced with a new and slimmer version. In the interior the altar faces north and is made of grey and yellow travertine and adorned with a gilded crucifix. Colors are kept discrete throughout the church and the floor is paved in red brick. In 1994 the church got a new organ and new windows in the choir.The church has a cemetery which was inaugurated on 16 November 1927 with the first burial taking place December 23 of that year. The cemetery is divided around a system of paths which splits the cemetery into smaller units. The wide north-south path is the main axis of the cemetery with the church itself as the central element. Primary paths are paved while secondary are gravel.

Hasle Hills (Danish: Hasle Bakker) is a landscape and recreational area of 15.5 hectares (38 acres) in Aarhus, Denmark. It is located in the borderland between Hasle and the neighbourhood of Gellerup in the district of Aarhus V in the western parts of the city. Hasle Hills is part of the nature protection area of Naturen på Holmstrup Mark, which also contains parts of the larger recreational area of Skjoldhøjkilen, stretching west from Hasle Hills.

Marienlyst Park (Danish: Marienlystparken) is a public park in Hasle in the Aarhus V district, north-west Aarhus, Denmark. The park is situated west of the Herredsvang neighborhood along the street Fjældevænget Busvej to the south and Brendstrup Forest to the west. Marienlyst Park is one of the largest parks in Aarhus and features both landscaped lawns and artificial forested hills. Facilities include an amphitheatre, soccer fields, playgrounds and a 6-hole golf course. Marienlyst Park was established in connection with the development of western Hasle in the 1970s and today forms part of a green corridor extending from Vestereng to Brabrand Lake. The park is owned by Aarhus Municipality and is managed by the municipal department Natur og Miljø (Nature and Environment). Marienlyst Park can be rented for public events.The largest areas in Marienlyst Park are landscaped and managed, such as grass lawns and soccer fields, but there are some areas intentionally left to grow wilder. Artificial hills have been created from surplus soil from construction projects and are now left to grow as small managed forests. The park includes two marked running tracks of 1500 and 3000 meters. In addition Marienlyst Golf Club maintains a 6-hole short-golf course, accessible through an introductory course in the club.

Aaby, or Åby, is a suburban area of Aarhus in Denmark. Located 4 km from the city centre of Aarhus, Åby was originally an old village, but is now an integrated a part of Åbyhøj, that sprawled around it. To distinguish Åby from Åbyhøj, the village area is often referred to as Gammel Åby (lit.:Old Åby). Åby is situated at a bend of the Aarhus River and there is access to the river and the pathway of Brabrandstien from here.

Aabyhøj , or Åbyhøj, is a neighborhood of Aarhus, Denmark. It is part of the postal district of Aarhus V and has a population of approximately 11,000 people and is home to Aabyhøj IF football club and Aabyhøj Basketball.

Åby Church (Danish: Åby Kirke) is a church located in Åby Parish in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is situated in the neighbourhood Åbyhøj, west of Midtbyen. The church is today a parish church in the Church of Denmark, serving a parish population of 10.925 (2015). The Åby Church pastorate is shared with the Åbyhøj Church to the north.

Hårup is a town in Aarhus Municipality, Central Denmark Region in Denmark with a population of 884 (1 January 2023). Hårup is situated north of the city of Aarhus between the towns Todbjerg and Mejlby in Todbjerg Parish close to Trige og Ølsted.

The Aarhus Runestones or Ålum Runestones are six Viking Age runestones which were discovered in and around the city of Aarhus, Denmark. The stones are officially titled Aarhus 1 through 6 and they are all memorial stones created in memory or honor of a person. All six stones are kept and displayed at Moesgård Museum and one of the stones is known as the Aarhus Stone or Mask Stone and features the carving of a mask which has become the official symbol of Moesgård Museum.

NorthSide Festival, or simply NorthSide, is a three-day music festival held every year in June in Aarhus, Denmark. It has four stages with rotating artists and several sideshow events and happenings. The first festival commenced in 2010 and since 2011, the festival has been held at Ådalen in Åbyhøj. The 2017 festival was attended by 40,000 people each day. In 2022, for the very first time, NorthSide took place in the beautiful nature area, Eskelunden, right by Aarhus Å and in the backyard of the city. The festival now goes by the name NorthSide to avoid confusion with the Northside Festival in Brooklyn. It is a privately owned festival, owned by Down The Drain Group, who also owns the Tinderbox music festival in Odense and is shareholder in other music business activities in Denmark.Besides the musical profile and a goal of creating profit for its owners, NorthSide has a mission statement focused on innovation, sustainability, and customer involvement. NorthSide is Denmark's most sustainable festival and is dedicated to constantly raising the bar with new, sustainable initiatives. Among the many initiatives, it can be mentioned that all food is plant-based and 100% organic, and that there is no bottled water. In addition, in 2022 NorthSide was the first major festival in the world to run on 100% green electricity.
