Prague University of Economics and Business

The Faculty of International Relations (FIR) is one of six faculties at the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE), located within the main university campus in Prague, Czech Republic. The faculty specializes in teaching and research in fields related to international economic and political relations.

The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics (FIS VŠE), also known as the School of Informatics and Statistics, is the fourth of six faculties at Prague University of Economics and Business. The faculty was established in 1991, following the dissolution of the Faculty of Direction. Its academic focus is informatics, statistics, econometrics and other mathematical methods applied to business practice. The faculty has eight departments and several research laboratories, and hosts around 2,500 students across its programs.

Dům Radost (translated from Czech: House of Joy) is a functionalist building in Prague, Czech Republic. It is located next to Winston Churchill square in Žižkov district. It was built from 1932 to 1934. This 52 metres (171 ft) high building with 13 floors and cross floor plan inspired by French architect Le Corbusier was once the tallest office building in the country. The complex serves as offices, apartments, theater, cinema, cafe and observatory since 2019. Since 1964, it is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes (Czech: Ústav pro studium totalitních režimů or ÚSTR) is a Czech government agency and research institute. It was founded by the Czech government in 2007 and is situated at Siwiecova street, Prague-Žižkov (the street is named after Ryszard Siwiec). Its purpose is to gather, analyse and make accessible documents from the Nazi and Communist totalitarian regimes. The archives will also have documents from the former communist secret police, the StB or State Security. The institute is a founding member organisation of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience, and hosts its secretariat.

The FK Viktoria Stadion, officially named the eFotbal Arena, is a multi-use stadium in Prague, Czech Republic. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Viktoria Žižkov. The stadium holds 5,037 people, all seated. In 2007 the club opened a shop at the stadium for the sale of club merchandise. A new playing surface was laid in 2011 after the club was promoted to the Czech First League, one of the conditions of the club's acceptance into the league.

Hlavní nádraží (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɦlavɲiː ˈnaːdraʒiː]) is a Prague Metro station on Line C. The metro station serves Praha hlavní nádraží, Prague's principal mainline railway station. The metro station is situated underground, below the railway station.

Praha hlavní nádraží (IATA: XYG) is the largest railway station in Prague, Czech Republic. It opened in 1871 as Franz Josef Station, after Franz Joseph I of Austria. During the First Republic and from 1945 to 1948 the station was called Wilson Station (Czech: Wilsonovo nádraží), after the former President of the United States Woodrow Wilson. In 2014, the station served 224,505 trains (610 daily) and more than 53,000,000 passengers.

Prague City University is an English-language private university in the Vinohrady district of Prague, Czech Republic, founded in 2004. Formerly known as Prague College, the university adopted its current name in 2021. The university has two campuses: one located in a reconstructed 19th century historical building facing the Riegrovy Sady park, and the other in a former textile factory in the Prague 1 district. The college is organised around three Schools teaching approximately 550 students, and a research centre. About 35% of the students are Czech, and the rest come from around 80 countries around the world.

The Musical Theatre Karlín (Czech: Hudební divadlo Karlín) is a theatre in the Karlín district of Prague devoted largely to the performance of operettas and musical theatre. Built in 1881, it is now the second largest theatre in Prague after the Prague State Opera.

Brotherhood (Czech: Sbratření) is a sculpture by the Czech artist Karel Pokorný (1891-1962), which became the basis for monuments of the Prague Offensive during World War II. There are such monuments in Prague, Česká Třebová, Saint Petersburg and the Crimea. The sculpture depicts the meeting of a Soviet Red Army soldier and a Czech militiaman in May 1945. Art critics evaluate Brotherhood as one of the best works of socialist realism. This sculpture gained popularity and became a symbol of friendship between the peoples of Russia and Czechoslovakia. Its image was used on stamps, coins, banknotes, etc. After the dismantling of the Monument to Soviet Tank Crews in 1991 and the Statue of Ivan Konev in 2020, Brotherhood became the main memorial of World War II in Prague.From the first years after its creation, some viewers of the sculpture saw homoerotic overtones in it.

Langweil's Model of Prague is a realistic paper model of Prague dating from 1826–1837 and named after its creator Antonín Langweil. Due to Langweil's early death, the model remained unfinished. It covers an area of 20 m2 and shows more than 2,000 buildings in the historic heart of Prague in fine detail; approximately half of them do not exist anymore, largely due to an extensive urban sanitation project that included a planned demolition of large portions of the city's Old, New and Jewish towns between 1896 and 1943. The Langweil Model is thus the only existing depiction of the entire Prague Ghetto in its pre-1890s appearance. It is also a worldwide unique authentic witness of the appearance of a city in the first half of the 19th century.

The City of Prague Museum is located in Prague, Czech Republic. Langweil's Model of Prague is exhibited in the main building of the museum. Museum buildings include: Main Building, Podskalí Custom House at Výtoň, Ctěnice Chateau, Prague Towers, House at the Golden Ring, and Architectural Triangle.
