The Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (GZHTCM; 广州中医药大学) is a provincial public university in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is affiliated with the Province of Guangdong. The university is part of the Double First-Class Construction.

The Sanyuanli incident (Chinese: 三元里抗英事件) was a military conflict between regular troops of the British Army and an irregular force made up of Chinese militia and local citizens that took place around Sanyuanli village on the outskirts of Canton (now Guangzhou) on the 29 May 1841 after the Second Battle of Canton at the time of the First Opium War (1839–1842). Regarded by the British as a minor skirmish, to the Chinese it is regarded as a live example of a spontaneous uprising by the indigenous Chinese people in response to the actions of an actively aggressive invading foreign power since 1644.

Sanyuanli (三元里) is a neighbourhood in Baiyun District, in the northern suburbs of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Sanyuanli Subdistrict (三元里街道) was created in 1987 and covers an area of 6.8 square km, with a population of 85,000 residents, 20,000 migrants, and approximately 100,000 unregistered floating population.

Guangzhou TV Tower is a 217 m (712 ft) lattice telecommunication tower in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou with an observation deck, erected in 1991. A newer 618 m (2,028 ft) tower was completed in Guangzhou in October 2010, named Canton Tower that initially bore the name Guangzhou TV and Sightseeing Tower. It features observation decks on floors 107 and 108.

Dengfeng is a subdistrict of the Yuexiu District in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, southern China.

Feixiang Park Station (simplified Chinese: 飞翔公园站; traditional Chinese: 飛翔公園站; Jyutping: fei1 coeng4 gung1 jyun2 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Fēichèuhng Gūng'yún Jaahm), known as Yuanjing Station and later Yuncheng Station during planning, is a metro station on Line 2 of the Guangzhou Metro. It is located under the west side of Yuncheng East Road, the east side of Yuncheng West Road and the south side of the former Baiyun International Airport, in the Baiyun District of Guangzhou. It started operation on 25 September 2010.

Sanyuanli Subdistrict (Chinese: 三元里街道; pinyin: Sānyuánlǐ Jiēdào; Jyutping: saam1 jyun4 lei5 gaai1 dou6) is a subdistrict of Baiyun District, Guangzhou, People's Republic of China. As of 2020, it has 13 residential communities (社区) under its administration.

Sanyuanli Station (Chinese: 三元里站; Jyutping: saam1 jyun4 lei2 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Sāam'yùhnléi Jaahm) is a metro station of Line 2 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on the 29th of December, 2002. It is located at Sanyuanli in Baiyun District. It is adjacent to the Sanyuanli Anti-British Resistance Monument (三元里抗英纪念碑), Sanyuanli Coach Terminal (三元里客运站), Guangzhou Airport Expressway (广州机场高速公路) and Jingzhu Expressway.

The Guangdong International Building or Guangdong International Hotel is a 63-storey, 200 m (660 ft) skyscraper in Guangzhou, China. The tower was designed by Rong Baisheng of the Guangdong Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute in 1985. When completed in 1990, it was the tallest building in China and the first 200-metre skyscraper in the country.

The Xianxian Mosque (Chinese: 先贤清真寺) is a mosque in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is the largest mosque in Guangzhou.

Guangzhou railway station (simplified Chinese: 广州火车站; traditional Chinese: 廣州火車站; Jyutping: gwong2 zau1 fo2 ce1 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Gwóngjāu Fóchējaahm) serves the city of Guangzhou. It sits on the high speed Guangshen railway just west of Guangzhou East. CRH trains from Guangzhou serves Shenzhen six times daily. Services from this station include trains to Beijing (Jingguang railway) and Lhasa. It is served by the Guangzhou Metro on Line 2 and Line 5.
