St. Louis Walk of Fame

Blueberry Hill is a restaurant and music club located in the Delmar Loop neighborhood in University City, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. Until October 2014, Chuck Berry performed there the third Wednesday of each month, in the Duck Room. The restaurant is considered a St. Louis landmark, drawing tourists and locals during the day, and then becoming a popular hangout for university students in the evening, mostly from nearby Washington University. The restaurant is famous for its decor, its cheeseburger and its darts room. It is frequently mentioned by St. Louis–based announcer Bob Costas. Joe Edwards and Linda Edwards opened Blueberry Hill on September 8, 1972. Since opening, the restaurant has expanded into the adjacent spaces on the east and the west, and it now occupies an entire block of Delmar Boulevard. Outside the restaurant is the St. Louis Walk of Fame, the work of Joe Edwards. The Walk lines the sidewalks on both sides of Delmar, and is made up of bronze stars and informative biographical plaques honoring individuals from the St. Louis area who have made major national contributions to US cultural heritage.

The Delmar Loop–Parkview Gardens Historic District is a historic district in University City, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri. It is roughly bounded by Kingsland Ave., North Dr., Delmar Blvd., and Eastgate. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The listing included 289 contributing buildings.It includes two apartment subdivisions and an adjacent commercial area.

Delmar Garden Amusement Park was an early 20th‑century amusement park located along Delmar Boulevard in what is now University City, Missouri, at the western edge of St. Louis. It opened before the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and closed in the late 1910s.

The Delmar Loop, often referred to by St. Louis residents simply as The Loop, is an entertainment, cultural and restaurant district in University City, Missouri and the adjoining western edge of St. Louis near Washington University in St. Louis and Forest Park. Many of its attractions are located in the streetcar suburb of University City, but the area is expanding eastward into the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood of the City of St. Louis. In 2007, the American Planning Association named the Delmar Loop "One of the 10 Great Streets in America."

The Tivoli Theatre is now operated as home to the One Family Church located in the Delmar Loop area of University City, Missouri, US. The theatre opened on May 24, 1924, as a large, single screen theater with streetcar service in the middle of Delmar Boulevard bringing people to the theater from nearby residential neighborhoods. The theater remained open for many years, but went into decline until it was closed in 1994. A renovation was started by developer Joe Edwards and his wife Linda and the theater re-opened on May 19, 1995. Renovation expenses exceeding $2 million attempted to restore the theater to its 1924 splendor. In 2021 Edwards agreed to sell the Tivoli Building to One Family Church and Integrity Web Consulting. In addition to the theatre the adjacent property is home to the only offices in the center of the historic St. Louis Delmar Loop. While operating as a theatre from 1995 until 2021, the Tivoli Theatre showed predominantly independent, documentary and foreign language films, what are commonly referred to as art films, that were made primarily to show the craft of filmmaking or the art of storytelling while entertaining or informing. It occasionally showed cult films, especially at late night showings. As of 2023, the theatre has undergone renovation under the new ownership, while also holding church services. One Family Church has also stated that the theater will open back up for showing movies only on Fridays.

The University City Public Library is a public library in University City, Missouri, near the Delmar Loop. Established in 1939, the library holds more than 150,000 books. It offers several activities and services for all ages. It is a member of the Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis County, nine independent libraries in St. Louis County.

Parkview, also known as a "Saint Louis Urban Oasis," is a historic, private subdivision of St. Louis, Missouri. It is partly within the city limits of St. Louis and partly in University City. It is bounded by the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood to the east, the Delmar Loop to the north, the Ames Place section of University City to the west, Washington University in St. Louis to the south, and Forest Park to the southeast.

The City Hall of University City, Missouri, the seat of municipal government for University City, Missouri, was built in 1903 as the Woman's Magazine Building, the headquarters of a magazine publishing company, and became a city hall in 1930. The building is part of the University City Plaza, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 7, 1975.

Assumption Greek Orthodox Church is a historic church building at 6900 Delmar Boulevard in University City, Missouri. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Crow Observatory is a historic observatory housed in the Crow Hall in the Physics Department on the Danforth Campus of Washington University in St. Louis. The historic telescope is still in use, and the observatory is open to the public.

The James McKelvey School of Engineering is a part of Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in 1854, the engineering school is a research institution occupying seven buildings on Washington University's Danforth Campus. Research emphasis is placed on cross-disciplinary technologies in the areas of alternative energy, environmental engineering & sustainable technology, biotechnology, information technology, and nanotechnology/materials science. On January 31, 2019, the School of Engineering & Applied Science was renamed the James McKelvey School of Engineering, in honor of trustee and distinguished alumnus Jim McKelvey Jr., the co-founder of Square, after his donation of an undisclosed sum that the school's dean, Aaron Bobick, said has been the largest in the school's 162-year history.Washington University finished in 2021 a $360 million campus transformation project which included the construction of two new McKelvey buildings: Henry A. and Elvira H. Jubel Hall, which houses the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science, and James M. McKelvey, Sr. Hall, which houses the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.

KWUR is a college radio station in St. Louis, Missouri located at 90.3 MHz FM. KWUR was founded on July 4, 1976, at Washington University in St. Louis, and represents one of the last remaining independent and fully student-managed radio stations in the United States.Commercial-free programming, including rock, surf-rock, garage-rock, hip-hop, punk, metal, world, goth-industrial, classical, reggae, jazz, blues, electronica, talk, experimental, and Washington University sports, represent KWUR's freeform format. Although KWUR is only a class D FM station with a 9-watt effective radiated power (originally 10 watts), its location on the Washington University campus allows reception over the lively and focal Delmar Loop. Additionally, live Internet audio streaming supports a dedicated student, national, and global following. KWUR receives funding and support from the Washington University Student Union, the institution's undergraduate student government. KWUR is notable for fostering the St. Louis music scene through its initiatives including "Stack Sessions", where local and touring musicians are featured, as well as other community events, including KWUR Sucks and St. Louis Open Streets.
