The Old Cemetery, also known as the Milk Row Cemetery, is a historic cemetery on Somerville Avenue and School Street in Somerville, Massachusetts. Established in 1804 on land donated by Samuel Tufts, it is the city's oldest cemetery. The cemetery was established when Somerville was still a part of Charlestown, and many Somerville residents used that city's Phipps Street Burying Ground, and later the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge instead of this one. As a result, this cemetery remained small, and was the only one established within the city limits in the 19th century. The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Alexander Foster House is a historic house in Somerville, Massachusetts. Built c. 1860, it is one of the city's earliest examples of Italianate architecture, and one of its best-preserved. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The First Universalist Church is a historic Universalist Church building at 125 Highland Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts. The Romanesque church building was built between 1916 and 1923 to a design by Ralph Adams Cram, and is the only example of his work in Somerville. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is currently owned by the Highland Masonic Building Association, and is the home of King Solomon's Lodge AF & AM, the builders of the Bunker Hill Monument.

The former First Unitarian Church is a historic church building at 130 Highland Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts. The stone church was built in 1894 for a Unitarian congregation. It was designed by Hartwell & Richardson and is a good example of Richardsonian Romanesque design. The building presently (2022) houses the Mission Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Samuel Gaut House is a historic house in Somerville, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1855 for Samuel Gaut, a baker, and is a well-preserved example of a typical Italianate house. It is three bays wide with a typical Italianate center gable, which is studded with brackets and has a trefoil window in the peak. The side gables have round-arch windows, and the building is topped by an octagonal cupola with a belled finial.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Bow Street Historic District encompasses a mixed 19th-century commercial-residential in the Union Square area of Somerville, Massachusetts. It covers a part of the west side of Union Square that saw significant development during the city's growth in the 19th century, and has remained well-preserved since then. The house at 72R Dane Street in Somerville, Massachusetts is one of Somerville's oldest surviving structures and is located near the site of the earliest settlement in Somerville.The house was built around 1790 and features American colonial and Federal style architecture. 72R Dane Street is located on a small right-of-way off of Dane Street. Dane Street "was laid out in 1845 to provide a north-south link between Somerville Avenue and Washington Street." The buildings surrounding 72R Dane Street were largely constructed as working class tenement housing in the mid-nineteenth century. 72R Dane Street was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 and remains a private residence.

The Walter S. and Melissa E. Barnes House is a historic house at 140 Highland Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts. Built about 1890, it is one of the city's least-altered examples of Queen/Stick style Victorian architecture. It was for many years home to Robert Luce, a one-term Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

P.A.'s Lounge is a live music venue in Somerville, Massachusetts, located near Union Square at 345 Somerville Ave. The venue's name derives from its original popularity as a club frequented by Portuguese immigrants (the letters P and A standing for Portuguese-American). P.A.'s then became a Portuguese seafood restaurant before re-opening as a live music venue and bar in the fall of 2002. The house at 42 Vinal Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts is a well-preserved Shingle style house. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, roughly square in shape, with a cross-gable roof. The roof line of the front-facing gable extends downward to the first floor on the right, sheltering a porch on the building's right front. It is stylistically a very pure execution of the Shingle style, with most of the building clad in shingles, except very simple trim elements. It was built about 1895, when the Prospect Hill area was a fashionable residential area with ready access to streetcars providing access to Boston for commuters.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
