The Hawkes Pharmacy, also known recently as the Rockaway Hotel, is a historic commercial building at 7 Main Street in York Beach, Maine. Built in 1902, it is the commercial building in the village of York Beach to retain significant historic features. The Tudor Revival building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Pebbledene is a historic house at 99 Freeman Street in the York Beach area of York, Maine. Built in 1896, this Queen Anne/Shingle style house was the last large-scale summer house built in the area. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Cape Neddick is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of York in York County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,568 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Conant-Sawyer House is a historic summer house at 14 Kendall Road in York Beach, Maine. Built in 1877 and enlarged in 1896, it is a well-preserved example of a late 19th-century upper middle-class summer house. Its notable owners include Sumner Wallace, a shoe manufacturer from Rochester, New Hampshire, and Charles Henry Sawyer, Governor of New Hampshire. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

It specialises in books on Aleister Crowley and his circle, magic, mysticism, eastern religions and alternative spirituality. Its earlier New York incarnation, The Weiser Bookshop, was described by Leslie A. Shepherd as "perhaps the most famous occult bookstore in the U.S."

The York Cliffs Historic District is located on Agamenticus Avenue in York, Maine. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 26, 1984. It encompasses a collection of eight late Victorian summer mansions built as part of an exclusive development by the York Cliffs Company between 1890 and 1902, representing one of the finest such collections remaining on the coast of Maine. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Cape Neddick Light is a lighthouse in Cape Neddick, York, Maine. In 1874 Congress appropriated $15,000 to build a light station at the "Nubble" and in 1879 construction began. Cape Neddick Light Station was dedicated by the U.S. Lighthouse Service and put into use in 1879. It is still in use today. Plans had been in the works to build a lighthouse on the site since 1837. The tower is lined with brick and sheathed with cast iron. It stands 41 feet (12 m) tall but the light is 88 feet (27 m) above sea level because of the additional height of the steep rocky islet on which it sits. Unusually, the stanchions of the walkway railing around the lantern room are decorated with 4-inch (100 mm) brass replicas of the lighthouse itself.

The Robert Rose Tavern is a historic house and former tavern at 298 Long Sands Road in York, Maine. Built in the 1750s using elements of a house built in 1680, it is one of the oldest surviving public hostelries in the state. The original house was built by John Banks, one of York's early settlers, and the tavern was built by a prominent local businessman. Now a private residence, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Moody Homestead is a historic house at 100 Ridge Road in York, Maine. The main house, built in 1790, is attached to an ell that is estimated to date to the late 17th century. The house has been owned by descendants of the locally prominent Moody family since the 1770s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Little River is a 2.9-mile-long (4.7 km) river in the town of York, Maine, that flows directly into the Atlantic Ocean. It is located north of the York River and south of the Cape Neddick River, reaching the Atlantic near the south end of York Beach.
