Kinawley or Kinawly (from Irish Cill Náile, meaning 'Náile’s church') is a small village, townland (of 187 acres) and civil parish straddling County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and County Cavan, Republic of Ireland. The village and townland are both in the civil parish of Kinawley (founded by Natalis of Ulster) in the historic barony of Clanawley, while other areas of the parish are in the baronies of Knockninny in County Fermanagh and Tullyhaw in County Cavan. In the 2011 Census it had a population of 141 people. Kinawley has been twinned with the German Village of Ammerndorf a municipality in the district of Fürth within Bavaria in Germany since 2008 following the county of Fermanagh's "Green and Green alike" campaign assigning each village and town land with a similar counterpart to follow the example of an environmentally friendly living manner.

Macken or Mackan (from Irish Meacan) is a small hamlet and townland in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, off the A509 main Enniskillen to Derrylin road. Once quite a sizeable village it has now dwindled to containing only a few scattered farmsteads.

Hanging Rock is a large limestone cliff with an obtuse angle. It is located beside the village of Florencecourt in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, and is part of the Cuilcagh mountain region. The cliff is situated in an area dedicated The Hanging Rock Nature Reserve, which is in turn part of the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark.

The Battle of the Ford of the Biscuits took place in Fermanagh, Ireland on 7 August 1594, during the Nine Years' War. A column of almost 650 English troops led by Sir Henry Duke was ambushed and defeated by a Gaelic Irish force under Hugh Maguire and Cormac MacBaron O'Neill at the Arney River. The English column had been sent to relieve and resupply Enniskillen Castle, which had been under siege by the Irish since May. The English suffered at least 56 killed and 69 wounded, and were forced to make a hasty retreat. The battle gained its name because the supplies of the English, largely hard biscuits, were left scattered and floating in the river. The battle was an early engagement of the Nine Years' War, and exposed the vulnerability of the English to ambushes in the wilder parts of Ulster with its thick woods and bogs.

Drumlaghy (from Irish: Druim Lathaighe) is a small village and townland in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population (with Florencecourt) of 135 people. It is situated within Fermanagh and Omagh district, near the listed building Florence Court.

Skea (from Irish Sceach, meaning 'thorn-bush') is a small village and townland in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It had a population of 114 people (along with Arney) in the 2001 Census. It lies within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

Florencecourt is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 census it had a population (with Drumlaghy) of 135 people. It is situated within Fermanagh and Omagh district. Historically the area was called "Mullanashangan" (from Irish Mullach na Seangán 'summit of the ants').

Arney (from Irish an Arna) is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It lies to the southwest of Enniskillen, between the village of Bellanaleck and the Five Points crossroads. Arney takes its name from the Arney River that feeds Lough Erne. It had a population of 125 people (along with Skea) in the 2011 Census. It is situated within Fermanagh and Omagh district.

The Florence Court Yew is the surviving specimen of the two original Irish yew (Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata') seedlings. As such, it is the oldest Irish yew alive and it is believed that almost all Irish yews worldwide descend from this specimen. It is located in Florence Court demesne in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and is cared for by the National Trust.

Bellanaleck (from Irish Bealach na Leice, meaning 'pass of the flagstone') is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It lies just south of Enniskillen on the main A509 (N3) road towards Cavan and Dublin. In the 2011 Census it had a population of 532. It is situated within Fermanagh and Omagh district.

Arney is a civil parish located in the barony of Clanawley and Tirkennedy in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Clogher.

The A509 is a road in Northern Ireland. It travels through County Fermanagh and continues to Cavan and Dublin in the Republic of Ireland as the N3. The road is a single-carriageway primary route, and forms part of a road corridor from Dublin to Ballyshannon via the N3 route in the Republic of Ireland and the A4 and A46 routes in Northern Ireland.
