The Allston Mall

The Second Unitarian Church is a historic church and synagogue building at 11 Charles Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. Built in 1916 for a Unitarian congregation, it was acquired by the innovative Reform Jewish Temple Sinai congregation in 1944. It is a high quality example of Colonial Revival/Georgian Revival architecture, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Allston is an officially recognized neighborhood within the City of Boston, Massachusetts. It was named after the American painter and poet Washington Allston. It comprises the land covered by the zip code 02134. For the most part, Allston is administered collectively with the adjacent neighborhood of Brighton. The two are often referred to together as Allston–Brighton. Engine 41 is nicknamed "The Bull" to commemorate the historic stockyards of Allston. Housing stock varies but largely consists of brick apartment buildings, especially on Commonwealth Avenue and the streets directly off it, while areas further down Brighton Avenue, close to Brighton, are largely dotted with wooden triple-deckers. Lower Allston, across the Massachusetts Turnpike from the southern portion of Allston, consists of mostly 1890–1920s single-family and multi-family Victorian homes.

Harpers Ferry was a live music venue and bar in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It was in the high traffic central student section of Boston, equidistant from both Boston College and Boston University. Hosting national touring acts and regional acts, Harpers Ferry became known as "Boston's Best Live Music". The development of the "Allston Rock City" music scene centered on Harpers Ferry as a primary venue. Harpers Ferry closed down unexpectedly on October 31, 2010. The location is now home to the Brighton Music Hall.

The Harvard Avenue Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Linden Street, Commonwealth Avenue, Harvard Avenue, and Park Vale Avenue in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Its spine is Harvard Avenue, a major north–south thoroughfare connecting Allston to points north (generally via Cambridge Street toward Cambridge), and south toward Brookline. The area underwent a population explosion in the early 20th century, and Harvard Avenue was developed roughly between 1905 and 1925 as a commercial and residential spine. Notable buildings in the district include the Allston Station building, designed by Shepley, Rutan and Coolidge, and the Harvard Avenue Fire Station.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Harvard Avenue is a light rail station on the MBTA Green Line B branch, located in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The station is located on the west side of Commonwealth Avenue at Harvard Avenue, in a residential and commercial district. The station consists of two side platforms, located on opposite sides of Harvard Avenue, which serve the B branch's two tracks. The station is fully accessible.

The Harvard Avenue Fire Station is a historic former fire station on 16 Harvard Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. The station was designed in 1891 by Harrison H. Atwood, the Boston city architect who also designed the Congress Street Fire Station, It is a hip-roofed two story brick structure with Renaissance and Classical Revival elements. It was the second firehouse built on the site, and housed Engine #41 and Hook and Ladder #14.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

St. Luke's and St. Margaret's Church is a former parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. It was closed in 2010.

Fordham Road station was a light rail stop on the MBTA Green Line B branch, located in the median of Commonwealth Avenue at Fordham Road in Allston, Boston, Massachusetts. The stop had two side platforms, each located before the pedestrian crossing at Fordham Road. It was closed in 2004 as part of an effort to speed up travel times on the line.

Allston Congregational Church is a historic Congregational church building at 31-41 Quint Avenue in the Allston neighborhood Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1890–91 to a design by Allston native Eugene L. Clark, it is a prominent local example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. The property includes a Shingle style parsonage built about the same time. The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. The building presently houses a mosque and the Palestinian Cultural Center for Peace.

Packard's Corner is located in Boston, Massachusetts at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Brighton Avenue. Packard's Corner is serviced by the Packards Corner stop on the B branch of the MBTA's Green Line, a light rail line that runs mostly above ground. According to the Brighton Allston Historical Society, the name comes from Packard's Sales Stable and Riding School which existed in the area from 1885 through 1920, and was perpetuated by the Packard automobile dealership that was built in 1910. The corner is also the former home of Maverick Designs, a longtime supplier of unfinished wood products. The former A branch once forked with the B line at Packard's Corner where the A line continued onto Brighton Avenue towards Allston's Union Square.

The station is located in a median between the westbound travel lanes and frontage road of Commonwealth Avenue.

Griggs Street station (formerly Griggs Street/Long Avenue station) is a light rail station on the MBTA Green Line B branch, located between the southbound travel lanes and frontage road of Commonwealth Avenue at Griggs Street in Allston, Boston, Massachusetts. The station is not accessible. It has two side platforms, located on the near sides of a pedestrian crossing, to serve the line's two tracks.
