Bollebeek is a hamlet in the municipality of Asse, Flemish Brabant, Belgium. It was part of the village of Mollem. It has a 13th-century church tower.

Zellik is an urbanised town with over 8,000 inhabitants in the municipality of Asse, in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium. As a suburb on the northwest edge of Brussels, it is separated from the rest of the agglomeration by the R0 ring road around the city. It is close to the municipalities of Jette, Ganshoren and Sint-Agatha-Berchem, which lie to the east. The official language is Dutch (as everywhere in Flanders). Zellik is home to a minority of French-speakers.

Ossel is a hamlet in Flemish Brabant, Belgium. It is part of the municipality of Merchtem. The hamlet is built around the church of St John the Baptist, which dates from the Middle Ages. The nave was built in 1632 and the extension of the aisles in 1779. In 2007, paintings dating from the late medieval period were uncovered under the limestone vaults of the choir.

Mollem is a village in the municipality of Asse, Flemish Brabant, Belgium. It used to be a town on its own but now is a part of Asse. Mollem has a railway station on line 60 between Jette and Dendermonde. The hamlet of Bollebeek is close to the village. Mollem's most famous place must be "Rie van Pol", a bar that has remained unchanged throughout the years. Every year a lot of visitors (mostly foreign) visit Mollem just to visit this place.

Relegem is a town and deelgemeente in the municipality of Asse in Flemish Brabant, Belgium. Relegem was its own municipality until January 1, 1977 when it was merged with Asse as part of the fusion of the Belgian municipalities. Just before the merger, it had an area of 3.56 km2 (1.37 sq mi), and a total of 1116 inhabitants.

The Sourdough Library was founded in October 2013 in Saint-Vith, Belgium, and is the only facility in the world dedicated to housing sourdough cultures. The library is housed at the Puratos Center for Bread Flavour, with a mission to conserve and promote sourdoughs from around the world, to conduct research, and to ensure the survival of the various strains for future use. It currently has over 900 strains of wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria recorded. Every new sample that arrives at the library is checked and analyzed in the laboratory, run by Professor Marco Gobbetti. The library is a not-for profit initiative from Puratos and has 108 sourdoughs, including 12 from the United States.

Groot-Bijgaarden Castle (Dutch: Kasteel Groot-Bijgarden, French: Château de Grand-Bigard) is a 12th-century castle in Groot-Bijgaarden in the municipality of Dilbeek, Flemish Brabant, Belgium. The castle was built for Almaric Bigard, the first lord of Bigard. Groot-Bijgaarden Castle is situated at an elevation of 47 meters.

Laerbeek Wood (French: Bois du Laerbeek) or Laarbeek Wood (Dutch: Laarbeekbos) is a public forest in the municipality of Jette in Brussels, Belgium. It covers an area of 34 hectares (84 acres), making it the largest forest area in the north of the Brussels-Capital Region. The forest is located on the border with the Flemish Region and is connected to an open space in the north, although the Brussels Ring forms a barrier there. To the south and south-east, Laerbeek Wood borders other green areas: the Poelbos, King Baudouin Park and the Jette-Ganshoren Marshes. To the east, the forest borders the Campus Jette with the UZ Brussel. The appearance of Laerbeek Wood, with its many old beeches, is somewhat reminiscent of the Sonian Forest. The past of Laerbeek Wood, like that of the neighbouring Dieleghem Wood and Poelbos, is linked to the history of the Premonstratensian Dieleghem Abbey, founded in the 11th century. Laerbeek Wood has an exceptional biodiversity and is part of the Natura 2000 Special Protection Area in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Berchem-Sainte-Agathe (Dutch: Sint-Agatha-Berchem) station is a railway station in the municipality of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe in Brussels, Belgium. The station operated by the SNCB/NMBS is located on the line 50, which connects the Brussels-North railway station to the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station between the stations of Jette and Groot-Bijgaarden. It can be accessed from the Place de la Gare/Stationplein next to the Chaussée de Gand/Gentsesteenweg. The station connects with Brussels tram routes 82 and 83 as well as bus routes 84 and 87.

Huisje Mostinckx (Dutch: house Mostinckx) is a farm on the village square of Sint-Martens-Bodegem, a subdivision of Dilbeek in Flemish Brabant, Belgium. The date of building is unknown, however mentions on the Ferraris maps of Belgium date it prior to 1777. The house is a Flemish protected monument since 1981.
