Almeley (pronounced ) is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. The civil parish includes the hamlets of Almeley Wootton, Lower Wootton, Woonton and Upcott. The 2021 census recorded the parish population as 553.

Kinnersley Castle in Herefordshire, England, is one of the many marches castles along the Welsh Borders. The Castle of Kinnersley, on the A4112 3 km (1.9 mi) east of Eardisley, was originally a stone structure, thought to have been built during the reign of Henry I of England (1100-1135 C.E.). The Elizabethan building that now occupies the site has obliterated all but a few traces of the medieval castle. Although it looks predominantly Elizabethan on the outside, it has many features of different periods. It was bought by Roger Vaughan in 1588. It was 'renovated' in the 16th century by the Vaughn family and houses a fine example of an intricate plasterwork ceiling in the solar, thought to be one of the oldest in Herefordshire. There are many green men and serpent hounds to be found on this ceiling, a lot of the detail is picked out in gold. On the stone overmantel of the fireplace, carved into the stone is a boy's head with a serpent around its neck. Roger's son, John Vaughan inherited the castle, but then sold it to Francis Smallman Kinnersley Castle is the registered address of The Mereon Legacy CIC, a Community Interest Company, set up to hold the intellectual property rights related to the Mereon Matrix, and to "further explore, describe, understand and disseminate" knowledge related to this dynamic, three-dimensıonal geometric model which is composed of two many faced polyhedra.

Kinnersley railway station was a station in Kinnersley, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened in 1863 and closed in 1962. The station was located south of the village, next to the present day Kinnersley Arms public house.

Eardisley () is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire about 5 miles (8.0 km) south of the centre of Kington. Eardisley is in the Wye valley in the northwest of the county, close to the border with Wales. The village is part of the "Black and white village trail", having many timber-framed buildings along its high street. Recent dendrochronology dating work on timbers in these buildings has revealed that some parts date back to the 14th century.

Eardisley Castle was in the village of Eardisley in Herefordshire, England, 11 km north-east of Hay-on-Wye (grid reference SO311491). The site of the castle is a scheduled monument. This was an 11th-century motte and bailey castle with a moat around the bailey filled by a stream. It is recorded in the Domesday Book as being held by Robert (probably Robert de Basqueville, father of Ralph de Baskerville) from Roger de Lacy. In 1263 the castle was in the possession of Robert de Clifford who imprisoned the Bishop of Hereford, Peter de Aquablanca there. From around 1272 the castle was probably the chief residence of the Baskerville family, although its ownership changed frequently. The de Bohuns, Earls of Hereford, were overlords of Eardisley until 1372 when the earldom of Hereford ceased and it passed to the Crown. In 1403 Henry IV ordered the castle fortified against attacks by Owain Glyndŵr although by 1372 it had already been recorded as ruined. By the 1640s the castle was in the possession of Sir Humphrey Baskerville, a Royalist, and was burnt down to the ground during the Civil War, with only one of the gatehouses escaping ruin. A member of the Baskerville family was still living in this ruin in 1670 in comparative poverty. What remained of the castle was demolished by William Barnesley after he acquired the estate, where he built Eardisley House. The mound and wet ditches are the only traces now remaining. The moat was filled in during the summer of 1972. Archaeological digs took place at the site in 1994 and 2011. In 1994, excavations revealed medieval pottery, tiles and other objects, including a fragment of Roman pottery.

Lyonshall is a historic village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. The civil parish includes the hamlet of Penrhos. According to the 2001 Census, the civil parish had a population of 750, increasing to 757 at the 2011 Census.

Eardisley railway station was a station in Eardisley, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened on 30 June 1863, closed to passengers on 31 December 1962 and closed completely in 1964. The former station site, now an industrial estate, is to the south of the village, on the A4111.

Lyonshall railway station was a station in Lyonshall, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened in 1874 and closed in 1940. It is located on the A480, south east of the village.
