The Belmont Club, also known as the John Young House, is a historic house on Franklin Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The house was built in 1845, and is one of the few surviving homes built close to the city's business district soon after the devastating 1843 fire. It was purchased by the Belmont Club in 1934. The club reopened under new ownership in December 2012.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and included in the Downtown Fall River Historic District in 1985.

The Third Street Commercial Corridor Historic District is a historic district on Third Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. It encompasses a pair of early 20th-century commercial buildings that have survived subsequent urban renewal projects in the city's downtown area. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2023. Both buildings have been converted to residential use.

Fall River Government Center (also known as "city hall") is the location of the municipal government offices in the city of Fall River, Massachusetts, United States. Located at One Government Center, and constructed directly over Interstate 195, it was the first public building built over a Federal interstate highway. It replaced the city's historic 19th century city hall which had been demolished in the early 1960s as part of the construction of Interstate 195, which cuts through the center of the city's downtown area. Delayed and plagued by problems during construction, the new city hall opened in 1976. In 2008, the building and site underwent a multimillion-dollar exterior renovation.

The Church of the Ascension is a historic Episcopal church building located at 160 Rock Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was completed in 1875 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is also located within the Lower Highlands Historic District. As of 2008, the parish is now known as the Church of the Holy Spirit.

First Baptist Church is a historic church at located 200-228 N. Main Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The church was built in 1850 and was a work of local architect Josiah Brown. It is built of wood with brick trim in the Gothic Revival style. The tower originally contained a tall spire and corner finials that were destroyed during Hurricane Carol in 1954. In 1871, extensive repairs were made and the Meeting House was enlarged.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Fall River has its city hall located over an interstate highway.

William M. Connell School is a historic school located at 650 Plymouth Avenue in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was built in 1893 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was designed by notable city architect Joseph M. Darling on the same plan as the Davol School. The school is named after William Connell, who served as the city's Superintendent of Schools from 1872 to 1894.The Connell School was one of about a dozen elementary schools closed in June 2008 by the city, with the opening of several new, larger buildings.

B.M.C. Durfee High School is an historic former high school building at 289 Rock Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The school was built in 1886 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. In 1978, it was replaced by the current B.M.C. Durfee High School building. The old building was restored in the early 1990s and is now operated as a probate and family courthouse by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Quequechan Club is a historic building at 306 North Main Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The building was built in 1861 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The Quequechan club was originally a gentlemen's club in the late 19th century that was run by all of the members. The bedrooms upstairs were used as a bed and breakfast. During the early 20th century the club turned more into a restaurant, and banquet hall for members. It was not until the 1970s that women were allowed to enter the dining room unescorted. The club is no longer member-operated and is owned by sole proprietor Dan Silva. The club remains private and allows members to smoke inside the pub. The club has been reported to be haunted, and mediums and ghost hunters have visited the premises. Solid proof has yet to be found.
