Sunrise Mall was a two-story, enclosed shopping mall in Corpus Christi, Texas. It is located at the intersection of Airline Rd. & S. Padre Island Drive. Current tenants include Planet Fitness, New Life Church (formerly The Summit Church), Freedom Fitness, and Little Woodrow's Bar.

Parkdale Plaza was a shopping mall located in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. It opened in 1957 and closed in 2010 to be torn down for a Walmart.

Driscoll Children's Hospital is a children's hospital located in Corpus Christi, Texas and founded as a charity children's hospital in 1953 by the last-will and testament of Clara Driscoll with the assistance of her primary physician Dr. McIver Furman. In 1970 Driscoll Children's Hospital had its status changed from charity only to not for profit. Driscoll Children's Hospital is the 7th largest employer in Corpus Christi. Driscoll was the first hospital in south Texas to provide pediatric emergency services and also to perform an organ transplant. It is accredited by the Joint Commission (JC). Driscoll Children's Hospital also operates the only asthma camp in south Texas, Camp Easy Breathers.

Corpus Christi is home to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, one of two locations training primary student pilots and advanced multiengine pilots of the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and US Coast Guard.

Veterans Memorial High School is a public high school in south Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, northwest of Oso Bay. It is operated by the Corpus Christi Independent School District and is classified as a 5A school by the UIL. Veterans High opened in August 2015 and graduated its first senior class in June 2017. The school was built on 95 acres at a cost of $93.2 million, funded by a 2010 bond issue. It was originally intended to replace Mary Carroll High School but increased growth projections led the District to decide to keep both schools open. It was the district's first new high school in 45 years. In 2017, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

W. B. Ray High School is a 5A secondary school centrally located in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States and is part of the Corpus Christi Independent School District. The school is named in honor of CCISD school board president, William Benton Ray. W. B. Ray High School opened in 1950. Ray High School is noted for its Socratic method, a system based on teacher and student interaction that promulgates discussion and inquiry-based learning in the classroom.W. B. Ray High School one of 46 high schools in Texas designated as a World School by the International Baccalaureate Program. W. B. Ray High School is the only high school in CCISD which offers the International Baccalaureate Program and is CCISD's only program for Gifted and Talented students at the High School level, offering higher level academic courses that surpass Honors and AP courses in both rigor and difficulty.

Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi (Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, TAMU–CC, A&M–Corpus Christi, or A&M–CC) is a public research university in Corpus Christi, Texas. It is part of the Texas A&M University System and classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity".

Dugan Wellness Center, opened in January, 2009, is located on the campus of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas. With 67,000 sq ft (6,200 m2), the center is the recreation home for students attending the university. In addition, the center has been the home of the NCAA Division I Texas A&M–Corpus Christi Islanders women's volleyball team since it opened. The Islanders men's and women's basketball teams have used the venue as their home court for some games since opening. Other home games are at the off-campus American Bank Center The facility was named after Jack and Susie Dugan. The Dugans donated the lead gift of $1 million toward the building's construction cost $21 million cost in 2007. The ribbon cutting opening ceremony and first men's basketball game at the facility were held on January 24, 2009.
