Flint Mills

Wampanoag Mills is a historic textile mill complex located at 420 Quequechan Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. Built beginning in 1871, it is a large and well-preserved example of granite textile mill construction. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Greany Building is a historic mixed-use commercial and residential building located at 1270–1288 Pleasant Street in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Notre Dame School is a historic former school building located at 34 St. Joseph's Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. Located in the Flint neighborhood, it was built in 1899, and designed by local architect and parish member Louis G. Destremps, who also designed the nearby St. Joseph's Orphanage and Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. The large three story brick parochial school was built in the Colonial Revival style. Its full entablature is enhanced by small brackets and dentils. The central entrance is recessed with a covered entry supported by fluted Doric columns. The base is constructed from locally quarried Fall River granite The school opened in the fall of 1900 and was known at the time as Notre Dame College.

Barnard Mills is an historic textile mill at 641-657 Quarry Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. Developed beginning in 1874, it was the first mill to use ring spinners instead of mule spinners, and was a major local employer until its closure in 1939. The complex has been redeveloped as a commercial retail space called Tower Mill. The mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Davol School is a historic school at 112 Flint Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was built in 1892 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The eight room elementary schoolhouse was designed by notable city architect Joseph M. Darling, on the same plan as Connell School located on Plymouth Avenue. The brick Romanesque Revival structure is two stories in height, with a projecting entry section that is topped by a square tower with an open belfry and pyramidal roof. The school was built during a major expansion of the school system, increasing the number of classrooms by 20%.The school was closed by the city in 2007.

St. Joseph's Orphanage is an historic former orphanage and school located at 56 St. Joseph Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The orphanage was built in 1892 as part of the parish of Notre Dame de Lourdes, a large French-Canadian congregation located in the city's Flint Village neighborhood. Two large wings were added about 1917. The building later housed an elementary school, known as Mount Saint Joseph. Between 1982 and 1986, the school's chapel was used as a temporary place of worship by Notre Dame after its magnificent 1895 church was destroyed by a massive fire on May 11, 1982. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 1989, the building was converted into residential apartments, with a large addition to the north side. A statue of Saint Joseph was removed from the alcove atop the front of the building and placed on the nearby grounds of Notre Dame Church.

Hargraves Mill No. 1 is an historic textile mill on Quarry Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. The mill was built in 1888 from native Fall River granite. Reuben Hargraves was the company's first president. The mill was taken over by Parker Mills in 1922.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The mill went through an extensive remodeling and upgrading period in the early 21st century thanks to the work of Jose L. Cardozo. The property was more recently part of the Quaker Fabric Corporation which closed in 2007.

The Jesus Mary Convent is a historic former convent located at 138 St. Joseph's Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was built in 1887 and designed by local architect and parish member Louis G. Destremps, who also designed the nearby orphanage, school and church. The four story Second Empire brick convent was built as part of Notre Dame Parish. The west facing central tower with its Italianate window lintels is blocked forward and dentils adorn the cornice line. A detached auditorium was added in 1939 to the north of the main structure. Until 1971, the building also housed Jesus Marie Academy, a private high school for girls. In the mid-1970s, the academy was renovated into a retirement center-infirmary for retired religious.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Shortly after, the property was converted into apartments, known as Lafayette Place. Several new buildings were added on the grounds to the west of the historic convent.

Notre Dame de Lourdes, known from 2012 to 2018 as St. Bernadette Parish, is a former Roman Catholic parish in Fall River, Massachusetts. A part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fall River, the parish was established in 1874 to serve the growing French-Canadian population located in the city's Flint Village section. Since its founding, the parish has occupied three different church buildings; a wooden structure (1874–1893), a spectacular granite church (1906–1982) and the current modern church (1986-2018). The parish complex over time has also consisted of other multiple buildings, including St. Joseph's Orphanage, The Jesus Marie Convent, a school, the church rectory, the Brothers' residence, and the former Msgr. Prevost High School. The parish also includes Notre Dame Cemetery, located in the city's south end. In March 2012, the diocese announced that Notre Dame de Lourdes parish would be merging with nearby Immaculate Conception parish, with the new combined parish renamed Saint Bernadette Parish. This name gives a connection to both parishes as it was Saint Bernadette who was reported to have witnessed the apparition of the Immaculate Conception (the Virgin Mary) at Lourdes, France.

Clover Leaf Mills (or formerly known as Seaconnet Mills) is a historic cotton textile mill complex located at 1 & 21 Father DeValles Boulevard in Fall River, Massachusetts. Begun in 1884, the mill is a good example of 1880s industrial architecture. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Cornell Mills is an historic cotton textile mill on Alden Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. Built in 1890, it is a well-preserved example of late 19th-century industrial mill architecture in stone. The mill complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. On February 26, 2016, a developer has bought the property with the intent to convert the mill into middle-class residential housing.

Pocasset Firehouse No. 7 is a historic former fire station in Fall River, Massachusetts. Built in 1873, it is one of four extant firehouses within the city designed by Boston architects Hartwell & Swasey in the Ruskinian Gothic style. The others include the Quequechan No. 1 on Prospect Street, the Massasoit No. 5 on Freedom Street, the Anawan No. 6 Firehouse on North Main Street. In 1895, an extension was built on the west side of the main structure to accommodate of a hook and ladder truck. A portion of the building was used as a police station. The Pocasset Firehouse was built to serve the Flint Village section of the city. It operated as a fire station until 1988, when the Flint Reney/Eastwood Fire Station opened on Eastern Avenue.The station was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It now privately owned, and occupied by Baker Sign Works.
