The Frankish Building is a historic building located at 200 South Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California. Charles Frankish and his son designed and supervised the construction of the building in 1915–16. Frankish was an early investor in Ontario and was responsible for much of the city's planning and promotion, which included constructing a railroad in and planning the layout of the southern half of the city. The building housed storefronts on its first floor and an apartment complex on its second and third floors. Frankish gave the building a Second Renaissance Revival design, a popular American style in the early twentieth century. The building's design includes a flat facade and roof, rusticated quoins on the first floor, and a bracketed wooden cornice.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 11, 1980.

Ontario station is an Amtrak train station in Ontario, California, located on the Union Pacific Railroad Alhambra Subdivision. It is served by the thrice-weekly Sunset Limited/Texas Eagle. The station has a covered, open-air pavilion built by the city in 1991.Of the 73 California stations served by Amtrak, Ontario was the 70th-busiest in fiscal year 2019, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 11 passengers daily (though the station does not receive daily service).

The Ontario State Bank Block was a historic commercial building located at 300 South Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California. The building, completed in 1887, was composed of three sections, and had a design which incorporated elements of the Eastlake and Queen Anne styles. The design included a corner turret, several gables along the roof line, and a variety of different window styles; it originally had three prominent oriel windows in the gable peaks above the bank's original section, and also had a set in the second section of the block. Decorative features included corbelled brickwork and carved wooden pilasters and brackets. The Ontario State Bank, which opened with the building, was the first bank in Ontario and an important early business center for the city. The building also housed several other shops, including Grand Palace Pavilion of Antiques, Howell's Furniture and Hardware, and E.H. Richardson's Pacific Electric Heating Company, which invented the Hotpoint electric iron and brought national attention to Ontario.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 8, 1982. It unfortunately burned down in 1986.Euclid Avenue is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Graber Olive House in Ontario, California, is original site of the longest operating olive packing business in the United States. The family home, in which the product, designated as Graber Olives, was developed, now is designated as historic and the original farm is designated as a historic site. The business was founded in 1894, two years after Clifford C. Graber and his brother, Charles, arrived from Clay City, Indiana.

The district operates eight comprehensive high schools, one online high school, one continuation high school, one community day school, and one adult education school.A portion of Los Angeles County is within the district.

Canyon View High School is a public secondary school in Ontario, California. It is one of the eleven schools of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District. Canyon View is one of two continuation schools in the district and enrolls more than 200 students in grades 10 through 12.

Chaffey Adult School is a public secondary school in Ontario, California. It is one of the eleven schools of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District and the only community day school.

Ontario is a city in southwestern San Bernardino County in the U.S. state of California, 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown Los Angeles and 23 miles (37 km) west of downtown San Bernardino, the county seat. Located in the western part of the Inland Empire metropolitan area, it lies just east of Los Angeles County and is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area. Ontario handles the mass of freight traffic between the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and the rest of the country.It takes its name from the Ontario Model Colony development established in 1882 by the Canadian engineer George Chaffey and his brothers William Chaffey and Charles Chaffey. They named the settlement after their home province of Ontario.

Upland station is at 300 East A Street in Upland, California, just east of Euclid Avenue. It has a park and ride lot with 308 paid spaces. The station is part of the Metrolink commuter railway's San Bernardino Line. The station is owned by the City of Upland. Upland station is served by 34 Metrolink San Bernardino Line trains (17 in each direction) each weekday, running primarily at peak hours in the peak direction of travel. Weekend service consists of 16 trains (8 in each direction) on both Saturday and Sunday, evenly spaced throughout the day.Omnitrans does not directly serve the station, but runs route 83 along Euclid Avenue, about two blocks away from the platform.

Western Christian High School, also known as Western Christian Schools, is a co-educational private Christian high school in Upland, California. The school was established in 1920. Western Christian also has a middle school, elementary school and preschool in Claremont, California. In 2020, the superintendent was John Attwood.In 1970, Western Christian High School moved to real estate formerly used by Azusa Pacific College, where the enrollment that year was of about 235 students. The school at the time had a choir of about 50 students, called the Good News Singers. Bill May was the principal at the time. By 1992, the school's choir had 54 members.In 1997, it started a home-schooling program called Western Christian PSP (Private Satellite Program), in association with the founders of that program, Marilyn and Bill Stephens. The Western Christian PSP later became Legacy Christian School Private Satellite Program.In 2005, the cheerleading coach was Jaime Fulton, who lead a 20-girl squad. In 2013, the American Legion nominated Western Christian students to the California American Legion Boys State, which was held in Sacramento. Despite campaigning, the Western Christian students did not win elections there.
