Downtown New Britain station

The New Britain Opera House, also known as the Palace Theater, was a performance venue and movie house on Main Street in downtown New Britain, Connecticut. Built in 1880, it was a prominent local example of Renaissance Revival architecture, serving as an entertainment venue for about a century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. It has since been demolished as part of local urban renewal.

Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic former church building at 69 Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut. Built in 1891 to a design by Amos P. Cutting, it is a distinctive local example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. The congregation was founded in 1885 and the current church building was constructed 1903-07. The building, a fine local example of Late Gothic Revival architecture, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The New Britain Public High School Campus is a historic suite of former school buildings at 50 Bassett Street and 161 South Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut. The campus's oldest building, opened in 1896, was one of the first public high schools in Connecticut, and is a good example of Renaissance Revival architecture. The campus was repeated enlarged during the 20th century with the addition of trade and vocational components, and served the city as a high school until the 1970s, when it was converted to housing.The campus was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
