Antietam Avenue Bridge

The Chestnut Street Bridge is located where Chestnut Street passes over the Dequindre Cut (formerly owned by the Grand Trunk Western Railroad) in Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

St. Joseph Shrine (formerly St. Joseph Oratory and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church), founded in 1855, is a historic German Catholic church located at 1828 Jay Street in the Eastern Market–Lafayette Park neighborhood area just outside downtown Detroit, Michigan, on the city's central east side. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and deemed "of national importance" because of its stained glass. Three subsidiary buildings—the rectory, convent, and the Wermers House—were added to the listing in 1992. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Detroit, and presently a shrine dedicated to the celebration of the pre-Vatican II liturgy (the Tridentine Mass) under the care of the canons of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.

St. John's–St. Luke's Evangelical Church is a congregation of the United Church of Christ located at 2120 Russell Street in Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Sidney D. Miller Middle School, also known as the Sidney D. Miller Junior High and High School, is a school building located at 2322 DuBois Street in Detroit, Michigan. It served as a high school from 1933 to 1957, and was significant as the de facto high school serving African American students in Detroit. It was designated a state of Michigan Historic Site in 1986 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Nellie Leland School is a school building, originally built to serve handicapped children, located at 1395 Antietam Avenue in Detroit, Michigan (the former location of the Detroit Barracks, where Lieutenant Ulysses S. Grant served from 1849 to 1851). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. The building has been renovated into loft space.

The Dequindre Cut is a below-grade pathway, formerly a Grand Trunk Western Railroad line, located on the east side of Detroit, Michigan, just west of St. Aubin Street. Much of the Cut has been converted to a greenway; the colorful graffiti along the pathway has been left in place.

Lafayette Towers Apartments West, at 1321 Orleans Street in Detroit, Michigan, is one of two identical apartment buildings designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The other is Lafayette Towers Apartments East. The apartment is in the Lafayette Park development, near downtown. Both the Lafayette Towers Apartments were built in 1963 and stand at 22 stories in height. They were designed in the International style of architecture, much like the Lafayette Pavilion Apartments, and the other buildings in the development. The primary materials for the facades are aluminium and glass.

Lafayette Towers Apartments East (1301 Orleans Street, Detroit, Michigan) is one of two identical apartment buildings designed by Mies van der Rohe. The other is Lafayette Towers Apartments West. The apartment is in the Lafayette Park development, near downtown. Both were built in 1963 and stand at 22 stories in height. They were designed in the International style of architecture, much like the Lafayette Pavilion Apartments, and the other buildings in the development.

The Lafayette Pavilion Apartments is the name of a high-rise residential apartment building in Detroit, Michigan. It is located at 1 Lafayette Plaisance, near Gratiot Avenue and I-375, near Chene Park. Construction began in 1955 and was completed in 1958. The building, whose exterior was constructed primarily of aluminum and glass, is 22 floors in height, and was designed in the international architectural style. The Lafayette Pavilion Apartments are one of four towers in the Lafayette Park development. The other three are the Windsor Tower, and the Lafayette Towers Apartments. Along with the other neighboring Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed buildings, this building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Historic Trinity Lutheran Church is a church located in downtown Detroit, Michigan. It occupies the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church complex, located at 1345 Gratiot Avenue. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1981 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Its current pastor is Rev. Darryl L. Andrzejewski.

The Third Precinct Police Station (or Hunt Street Station) is a former police station located at 2200 Hunt Street (at Gratiot Avenue) in Detroit, Michigan. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It now holds a co-working space, known as "Hunt Street Station."

Lafayette Park is a neighborhood located east of Downtown Detroit. It contains a residential area of some 4,900 people and covers 0.07 sq mi. The northern section, planned and partially built in the 1950s by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places; it was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 2015. Lafayette Park is located on the city's lower east side directly south of the Eastern Market Historic District.
