New Bolingbroke railway station

New Bolingbroke Town Hall is a historic building on Seven Mile Straight in New Bolingbroke, part of the town of Carrington and New Bolingbroke in Lincolnshire, in England. The structure, which currently operates as a meeting place for Carrington and New Bolingbroke Town Council, is a Grade II listed building.

New Bolingbroke is a village in the civil parish of Carrington and New Bolingbroke, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is in the Lincolnshire Fens, and is about 6 miles (10 km) east from Coningsby. The village was established by John Parkinson, who was a steward to Sir Joseph Banks.

Carrington is a village in the civil parish of Carrington and New Bolingbroke, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 7 miles (11 km) north from the market town of Boston. It lies within The Fens and was largely uninhabited marshland until the early nineteenth century. Drainage of an area known as West Fen began in 1802, and in 1812 a township called Carrington was created covering some of the drained land, named after Robert Smith, 1st Baron Carrington, the main landowner. The township became a civil parish in 1858. The civil parish of Carrington also included New Bolingbroke, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the north. The parish was renamed "Carrington and New Bolingbroke" in November 2022, at which point the parish council also declared the parish to be a town, allowing it to take the style "town council" and appoint a mayor. The parish also contains the hamlet of Medlam. The parish has a population of 564 according to the 2001 census, reducing slightly to 554 at the 2011 Census.Carrington church is dedicated to St Paul, and was built of red brick in 1816 under the Fen Chapel Act (1816), with its chancel being added in 1872. It is a Grade II listed building. Carrington and New Bolingbroke were separate ecclesiastical parishes until 1961 when they were united.Carrington's school, the Medlam School, was opened in February 1881 by the West Fen United District School Board which existed from 1879 to 1903. By the time of its closure in 1987 it was known as Carrington County Primary School. Children now attend school in nearby Stickney.Carrington Rally is an annual event which has taken place each spring for over 50 years, and is a steam and tractor show which supports local charities.The Carrington Glasshouse of Dyson Farming is based in Carrington. It is six hectares in size and 424 meters in length, with 700,000 strawberry plants.

Revesby Abbey was a Cistercian monastery near the village of Revesby in Lincolnshire, England. The abbey was founded in 1143 by William de Roumare, Earl of Lincoln, and the first monks came from Rievaulx Abbey. After the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 16th century, the Abbey was demolished and a country house built. Another house was built in the mid-19th century, and is in poor condition. Unoccupied since the 1960s and previously earmarked for demolition, the house was listed on the 2023 Heritage at Risk Register issued annually by Historic England. The register recorded that, although some progress had been made in relation to the repair and renovation of the stable block, the main house remained at "serious risk".

Revesby is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is 7 miles (11 km) south-east from Horncastle, 8 miles (13 km) east from Woodhall Spa and 14 miles (23 km) north from Boston, and on the A155. The parish includes the hamlet of Moorhouses 3 miles (5 km) to the south of Revesby village.

Sibsey was a rural district in Lincolnshire, Parts of Lindsey from 1894 to 1936. It was formed in 1894 from that part of the Boston rural sanitary district which in Lindsey (the Holland part forming the Boston Rural District). It included the parishes of Sibsey, Carrington, Frithville, Langriville, Seven Acres, Thornton le Fen, and Westville. The district was abolished in 1936 under a County Review Order. The bulk became part of Spilsby Rural District with part of a couple of parishes going to Boston Rural District.

William Lovell Church of England Academy (formerly William Lovell Church of England School, William Lovell Secondary School) is a coeducational Church of England secondary school with academy status, located in Stickney in the English county of Lincolnshire.

Stickney railway station is a former station that served the village of Stickney, in Lincolnshire, England. The station was on the Kirkstead and Little Steeping Railway which ran between Lincoln and Firsby. The line was sometimes called the "New Line". It was opened in 1913 and closed in 1970. The site has since been redeveloped with nothing left of the station.

Stickney is a linear village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It was an ancient parish in Lincoln County. Its population has increased since late 20th-century immigration and is 1127 as of 2011.

Claxby Pluckacre is a hamlet in the civil parish of Claxby with Moorby, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south-east from the town of Horncastle. In 1971 the parish had a population of 14. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished and merged with Moorby to form "Claxby with Moorby". Whilst Claxby Pluckacre is listed in the 1086 Domesday Book, today it is considered a deserted medieval village with slight earthworks visible between Hall Farm and The Grange. Claxby Pluckacre once had a church dedicated to Saint Andrew, which fell down in 1748 and was never rebuilt. The last priest was instituted 1660–62. Whilst nothing remains it can be seen as earthworks. Each year, in July, there is an annual pilgrimage to the site of St Andrew's Church. The Mareham le Fen Victory Silver Band provides the music for a service which commemorates the over 250 villages and hamlets lost in Lincolnshire over the past four centuries.

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is an aviation museum in East Kirkby, Lincolnshire, England. It was opened to the public in 1988 by Lincolnshire farmers Fred and Harold Panton, as a memorial to their older brother, Christopher Whitton Panton, who was killed on operations during the Second World War.

Royal Air Force East Kirkby or more simply RAF East Kirkby is a former Royal Air Force station near the village of East Kirkby, south of Horncastle in Lincolnshire, just off the A155. The airfield is now home to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre air museum.
