Wielka Nieszawka

Gmina Wielka Nieszawka is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Toruń County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Wielka Nieszawka, which lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Toruń. The gmina covers an area of 216.28 square kilometres (83.5 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 3,929.

Stary Toruń (Polish pronunciation: [ˈstarɨ ˈtɔruj̃]; "Old Toruń") is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zławieś Wielka, within Toruń County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It lies approximately 9 km (6 mi) west of Toruń. The village is the original place of the location of Toruń in 1233, from where it was translocated to the contemporary location after approximately 3 years. According to historic sources, there was a Teutonic Order stronghold together with a settlement and a church (demolished in the 16th century). The exact location of that settlement was discovered and researched by an interdisciplinary team of archaeologists and historians in 2018, just South of the village of Stary Toruń, next to the Vistula River and entrance to the Timber Port.

Motoarena Toruń im. Mariana Rosego is a multi-use stadium in Toruń, Poland. It is currently used mostly for motorcycle speedway matches and it is used for car racing and concerts and it is the home stadium of KST Unibax Toruń in the Speedway Ekstraliga. The stadium has a capacity of 15,500 people and was opened on 3 May 2009. It is named after Marian Rose, former speedway rider from Toruń. The speedway track is 318 metres (348 yards) long. Since 2010, a round of the Speedway Grand Prix has been held at the MotoArena.

There is pressure from local politicians to adapt the local airport to serve domestic flights, and, after expanding the landing strip by (version 1–200 meters, version II- 500) meters to over (v.I- 1500 meters, version II-2000 meters), also international flights to this tourist destination; due to its unique gothic-styled city-centre, it is on the UNESCO world heritage list and is one of the favourite Polish tourist destinations.
