Sabunchi

Araksavan (Armenian: Արաքսավան) is a village in the Artashat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia.

The Hrazdan (Armenian: Հրազդան գետ, Hrazdan get) is a major river and the second largest in Armenia. It originates at the northwest extremity of Lake Sevan and flows south through the Kotayk Province and Armenia's capital, Yerevan; the lake in turn is fed by several streams. In the Ararat plain it joins the Aras river along the border with Turkey. Its waters join the Kura river, before flowing into the Caspian Sea. A series of hydro-electric projects have been constructed on the river. Its waters are in demand to irrigate crops.

Dimitrov (Armenian: Դիմիտրով), or Ghuylasar Nerkin until 1949, is a village in the Artashat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia. It was renamed in 1949 in honor of Georgi Dimitrov − Comintern and Bulgarian Communist leader and prime minister of Bulgaria. The village is inhabited mainly by Armenians and Assyrians.

Masis (Armenian: Մասիս) is a village in the Artashat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia.

Mkhchyan (Armenian: Մխչյան) is a village in the Artashat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia near the Armenia–Turkey border. The town is named after Liparit Mkchyan, a Soviet commander killed in 1921.

Azatavan (Armenian: Ազատավան) is a village in the Artashat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia.

The Azat (Armenian: Ազատ) is a river in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. Its source is on the western slope of the Geghama mountains. It flows through Garni, Lanjazat and Arevshat, before reaching the Aras near Artashat. The main purpose of the Azat dam is to serve for irrigation and hydro power generation. Its hazard potential is ranked to be high. The Azat is known in Armenia for its beauty. It flows for 55 kilometers and has a basin that occupies 572 square kilometers. The Azat passes through the Khosrov State Reserve. In its lower reaches, the river flows into the Ararat valley. The Azat is known for its numerous spectacular waterfalls and its rock choked river bed. Upper Azat Valley Was listed to UNESCO world heritage site in 2000 with Geghard Monastery.

Berkanush (Armenian: Բերքանուշ) is a village in the Artashat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia.
