Nir Galim (Hebrew: נִיר גַּלִּים, lit. 'Waves Meadow') is a religious moshav shitufi in south-central Israel, adjacent to the city of Ashdod. Located in the southern coastal plain, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Yavne Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,387.

Gan HaDarom (Hebrew: גַּן הַדָּרוֹם, lit. Garden of the South) is a moshav in southern Israel. Located on the coastal plain near Ashdod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gederot Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 633.

Highway 41 is an arterial road in south-central Israel. It connects Highway 4 and Highway 7 to the Port of Ashdod. The designation "41" also applied to the continuation of the road eastward to Gedera until that section of the road was upgraded and renamed "7".

Gederot Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית גדרות, Mo'atza Azorit Gderot) is a regional council in the Central District of Israel. It is located between Ashdod, Yavne and Gedera and covers an area of 13,000 dunams. Founded in 1953, it was named after a biblical town in the allotment of the tribe of Judah (Joshua 15:41) Its population is 4,200. It borders on Brenner Regional Council to the north, Hevel Yavne Regional Council to the west, Be'er Tuvia Regional Council and Gan Yavne to the south, and the city of Gedera to the east.

Ashdod Oil Refinery (Hebrew: פז בית זיקוק אשדוד) situated in the coastal city of Ashdod is the second largest oil refinery in Israel (behind Haifa's oil refinery). It is located in the industrial zone in the northern part of the city, nearby the Port of Ashdod. As of 2014, it has an annual refining capacity of 5.4 million tons of oil, with a Nelson complexity index of 9.8.

Lakhish River (Hebrew: נחל לכיש, Naḥal Lakhish) is a river in Israel that flows into the Mediterranean Sea at the city of Ashdod. It is also known as Wadi Kabiba (inland section) and Wadi Sukhrir (Ashdod section) in Arabic.

Kvutzat Yavne (Hebrew: קְבוּצַת יַבְנֶה) is a religious kibbutz in the Central District of Israel. Located in the coastal plain just east of Ashdod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Yavne Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 957. The Kibbutz, is the location of Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh.

Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh (Hebrew: ישיבת כרם ביבנה, lit. Vineyard in Yavne Yeshiva) is a youth village and major yeshiva in southern Israel. Located near the city of Ashdod and adjacent to Kvutzat Yavne, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Yavne Regional Council. In 2021, it had a population of 538.

Kfar Aviv (Hebrew: כְּפַר אָבִיב, lit. Village of Spring) is a moshav in the Central District of Israel, near Ashdod. It belongs to the Gederot Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 823.

'Arab Suqrir (Arabic: عرب صقرير) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Gaza Subdistrict, located 38 kilometers (24 mi) northeast of Gaza in a flat area with an elevation of 25 meters (82 ft) along the coastal plain just north of Isdud. The total land area of the village was 40,224 dunams, of which 12,270 was Arab-owned, while the remainder was public property. In 1931, it had a population of 530, decreasing to 390 in 1945. It was destroyed and depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

Givat Washington (Hebrew: גִבְעַת וָשִינְגְטוֹן, lit. 'Washington Hill'), also known as Beit Raban (Hebrew: בֵּית רַבָּן, lit. 'House of Raban') is a religious youth village in central Israel. Located near Kvutzat Yavne, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Yavne Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 922.

Gan-Yavne (Hebrew: גַּן-יַבְנֶה) is a town in central Israel, located adjacent to the city of Ashdod. Gan Yavne was founded in 1931 and achieved local council status in 1950. It later expanded to incorporate the ruins of the depopulated Palestinian town of Barqa, today an archaeological area containing ancient tombs and a Byzantine mosaic.It lies east of the Tel Aviv–Ashkelon highway, and is bordered to the west by Ashdod, to the north by Gederot Regional Council, and to the east and south by Be'er Tuvia Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 24,251. The population in Gan-Yavne is nearly entirely Jewish.The houses in Gan Yavne are either villas or cottages, and it has a modern village-esque ambience.
