Arahata Station

Gokiso Hachiman-gū (御器所八幡宮) is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Nagoya, central Japan.

The Hachimanyama Kofun (八幡山古墳) is a large Kofun period burial mound in the Yamawaki neighborhood of Shōwa Ward in the city of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Dating from the mid-fifth century, it is the largest circular kofun in the Tōkai region of Japan. The tumulus was designated as a National Historic Site in 1931.

Buntenkaku (聞天閣) was a pavilion located in the Tsuruma Park in Nagoya, central Japan. It was located at the southeast corner on an elevation.It was modeled after the Golden Pavilion of Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto.It was used to welcome Prince Arthur of Connaught on his visit to Nagoya in 1918. It was destroyed during the bombing of Nagoya in World War II. The spot is now occupied by a sports field.

St. Mary’s College, Nagoya (名古屋柳城短期大学, Nagoya ryūjyō tanki daigaku) is a private junior college in Showa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, established in 1953. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1898, when Margaret Young (1855-1940), a missionary from Anglican Church of Canada, started a school for child care women.

The Nagoya Institute of Technology (名古屋工業大学, Nagoya Kōgyō Daigaku), abbreviated to Nitech (or in Japanese to 名工大, Meikōdai), is a public highest-level educational institution of science and technology located in Nagoya, Japan. Nitech was founded in 1905 as Nagoya Higher Technical School, then renamed Nagoya College of Technology in 1944, and then merged under the new educational system with the Aichi Prefectural College of Technology to be refounded as Nagoya Institute of Technology in 1949. In 2004 it was refounded as National University Corporation Nagoya Institute of Technology.

Shōwa-ku (昭和区, Shōwa-ku) is one of the 16 wards of the city of Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2019, the ward had an estimated population of 110,436 and a population density of 10,095 persons per km². The total area was 10.94 km².

Gokiso Station (御器所駅, Gokiso-eki) is an underground metro station located in Shōwa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan operated by the Nagoya Municipal Subway's Tsurumai Line. The station is an interchange station between the Tsurumai Line and the Sakura-dōri Line and is located 11.9 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Tsurumai Line at Kami-Otai Station and 8.4 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Sakura-dōri Line at Nakamura Kuyakusho Station.

Nagoya Civic Assembly Hall (名古屋市公会堂, Nagoya-shi Kōkaidō) is a concert hall located in Shōwa-ku, Nagoya, Japan. It was constructed in commemoration of the marriage of Emperor Hirohito and was opened on October 10, 1930. It is often used as a boxing venue.

Sakurayama Station (桜山駅, Sakurayama-eki) is an underground metro station located in Mizuho-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan operated by the Nagoya Municipal Subway’s Sakura-dōri Line. It is located 9.5 kilometers from the terminus of the Sakura-dōri Line at Nakamura Kuyakusho Station.
