Ōsu Kannon Station

Ōsu Kannon (大須観音) is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect located in Ōsu, in central Nagoya, Japan. It belongs to the Owari Thirty-three Kannon.

The Fuji Sengen Shrine (富士浅間神社, Fuji Sengen Jinja) is a Shinto shrine located in Ōsu in central Nagoya, central Japan.

The Hongan-ji Nagoya Betsuin (本願寺派名古屋別院) is a Jōdo Shinshū Buddhist temple located in Naka ward, Nagoya in central Japan. The temple is a short distance south of Ōsu Kannon Station. It is also known a Nishi Betsuin (西別院; "Western branch temple"), being associated with Nishi Hongan-ji (西本願寺) in Kyoto. It is contrasted with the Ōtani-ha temple of the same name, popularly known as Higashi Betsuin (東別院; "Eastern branch temple").

The Nagoya City Science Museum (名古屋市科学館, Nagoya-shi Kagakukan) is a museum located in Sakae, Nagoya, the center of Nagoya City, in central Japan. The museum houses one of the largest planetarium in the world and has three main sections on modern technology, life sciences and general science with a variety of hands-on exhibits. In 2012 much of the museum was renovated to coincide with the opening of the Planetarium. The upper floor of the museum is currently devoted to a display about space and future technology, utilizing touch-screen tablets and other technology. Many of the exhibits have been specifically tailored for children, such as a model railway on the third floor in the transport section. The museum also has features on the local Chubu region's links to science and industry. It is located in Shirakawa Koen along with Nagoya City Art Museum, midway between Osu Kannon and Fushimi subway stations, on Fushimi-Dori.

The Nagoya City Art Museum (名古屋市美術館, Nagoya-shi Bijutsukan) is located in the city of Nagoya in central Japan. The museum building itself was constructed by Kisho Kurokawa, one of the leading Japanese architects, from 1983 to 1987. Works by the surrealist Kansuke Yamamoto, Sean Scully, and Alexander Calder belong to its permanent collection. Artists such as Hakuyō Fuchikami, Nakaji Yasui and Jean-Michel Othoniel have exhibited their works there.

Sasashima-chō (笹島町) is a neighbourhood around the area of Nagoya Station, today a part of Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, central Japan. Sasashima ware used to be produced there during the late Edo period. It is served by the Sasashima-raibu Station.

The Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine (若宮八幡社 Wakamiya Hachimansha) in Suehiro-chō, Sakae 3-chōme in the Naka ward of Nagoya is a historic Shinto shrine.It dates back to the Taihō era (701-704). It was the main shrine of the Owari Tokugawa family. The shrine was destroyed in the bombing of Nagoya in World War II, but rebuilt in 1957.A large festival is held there every May.

Ōsu (Japanese: 大須) is a popular area located in the Naka ward of Nagoya, central Japan. Ōsu is a historic area which has many small shops offering everything from Japanese traditional food to handicrafts. A large department store is OSU301. It is popular amongst fashionable young people as well. The Ōsu Street Performer's Festival (大須大道町人祭, Ōsu Daido-chonin Matsuri) is held every year in October. The highlight is the parade of the oiran. There are a number of temples and shrines and religious institutions in this area. The most important ones are Ōsu Kannon (大須観音) and Banshō-ji (万松寺) and not far away is Hongan-ji Betsuin temple (本願寺派名古屋別院). Ōsu Kannon Station is located at Ōsu.

Sakae (栄) is an area in Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. It refers to the areas around Sakae intersection, Sakae Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway and Sakae Station on the Meitetsu Seto Line. Sakae is in the heart of Nagoya and is, along with Nagoya Station, one of Nagoya's main commercial districts.

The Misono-za (御園座) is a theatre in the city of Nagoya, central Japan. It was originally constructed in 1800s and presents kabuki and Western stage plays.

Banshō-ji (万松寺) is a small temple located in Ōsu in central Nagoya, Japan.Lord Oda Nobuhide (1510?-1552) built this Sōtō Buddhist temple in the then village of Nagoya in 1540, and invited the priest Daiun to open it. Katō Kiyomasa (1562–1611) stayed at the temple, which served as his quarters while he was engaged in the construction of Nagoya Castle. The temple was rebuilt in 1610 at its present site. Directly located at the main street is the stone gate. Two kitsune (fox spirits) guard the entrance. Many paper lanterns give light.

Fushimi Station (伏見駅, Fushimi-eki) is an underground metro station located in Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan operated by the Nagoya Municipal Subway. The station is an interchange station between the Tsurumai Line and the Higashiyama Line, and is located 7.0 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Tsurumai Line at Kami-Otai Station and 8.0 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Higashiyama Line at Takabata Station.
