Cima di Gana Bianca

Cima di Piancabella is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, overlooking Malvaglia in the canton of Ticino. It is located south of the Cima di Gana Bianca.

Lottigna is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1201 as Lotingnia. The municipality also contained the village Acquarossa. It had 105 inhabitants in 1682, and from 1850 to 1950 the population count remained stable around 130. It then dropped to 79 in both 1970 and 2000. In 2004 the municipality was merged with the other, neighboring municipalities Castro, Corzoneso, Dongio, Largario, Leontica, Marolta, Ponto Valentino and Prugiasco to form a new and larger municipality Acquarossa, the name taken from the old village in Lottigna.

Torre was a municipality in the district of Blenio in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. On 25 January 2005, the cantonal authorities announced that Torre would merge with Aquila, Campo Blenio, Ghirone and Olivone to form a new municipality to be called Blenio. This union was carried through on 22 October 2006.

Cima di Pinadee is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, located east of Olivone in the canton of Ticino. It lies between the Valle di Blenio and the Val di Carassino, north of the Passo di Piotta.

The Grauhorn is a mountain of the Lepontine Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Ticino and Graubünden. It lies north of the Rheinwaldhorn, on the range between the Val Carassino and the Länta valley. On the north side of the mountain is a glacier named Grauhorngletscher.

Aquila is a former municipality in the district of Blenio in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. This union was carried through on 22 October 2006.

The Rheinwaldhorn (Italian: Adula) is the highest point in the Swiss canton of Ticino at 3,402 metres above sea level. It lies on the border between the cantons of Graubünden and Ticino, in the Adula massif, part of the St. Gotthard massif of the Adula Alps in southern Switzerland. The mountain is known by different names, in German as Rheinwaldhorn or Adulahorn, in Italian as l'Adula or Piz Valrhein, in Romansh as Piz Valragn. The group of the snowy peaks lying between the two principal branches of the Rhine were known in the Middle Ages by the names Mons Aquila or Mons Avium. From the Romansh form of the first comes the name Adula, which is used to designate the north-eastern portion of the Lepontine Alps. The German name "Rheinwaldhorn" comes from the Rheinwald region.

Bacino di Val Malvaglia (or Lago di Malvaglia) is a lake above Malvaglia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. The reservoir's surface area is 0.19 km2. Its arch dam was built in 1959 and is operated by Officine Idroelettriche di Blenio SA (Ofible).

Dongio is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1188 as Deuci. The municipality also contained the villages Marogno and Motto. It had 532 inhabitants in 1682, which decreased to 391 in 1808. It was then stable for the next two centuries, reaching 488 in 1900 and 423 in 2000. In 2004 the municipality was merged with the other, neighboring municipalities Castro, Corzoneso, Largario, Leontica, Lottigna, Marolta, Ponto Valentino and Prugiasco to form a new and larger municipality Acquarossa.
