Dorposz Szlachecki (Polish pronunciation: [ˈdɔrpɔʂ ʂlaˈxɛtskʲi]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kijewo Królewskie, within Chełmno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It lies 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Chełmno, 32 km (20 mi) north-west of Toruń, and 35 km (22 mi) north-east of Bydgoszcz. It is located in the Chełmno Land in the historic region of Pomerania.

Płutowo (Polish pronunciation: [pwuˈtɔvɔ]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kijewo Królewskie, within Chełmno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. North of Płutowo village there is the Płutowo Nature Reserve with a total area of 17.96 hectares (44.4 acres), which was established in 1963 for the protection of a rare ecosystem along a ravine above the Vistula river. The length of the ravine is 1.2 km and its depth around 57 metres from the top down to the water level.

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Polish: Kościół Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Chełmnie) is a Catholic church in Chełmno, Poland. It was founded in the 13th century, and its gothic style is considered notably well preserved. The church was an influence for the Cathedral at Königsberg. The church contains relics of St. Valentine and is on the register of monuments in Poland. The church is also located in the Chełmno Old Town, which is itself a Historic Monument of Poland, as designated by the President of Poland.

Chełmno ([ˈxɛu̯mnɔ] ; older English: Culm; German: , formerly also Culm) is a town in northern Poland near the Vistula river with 18,915 inhabitants as of December 2021. It is the seat of the Chełmno County in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Due to its regional importance in the Middle Ages, the town gave its name to the entire area, Chełmno Land (and later an administrative unit of the Kingdom of Poland, the Chełmno Voivodeship), the local Catholic diocese and Kulm law, a municipal form of government for over 180 cities and towns in Central Europe, most notably Warsaw, Gdańsk, Toruń, Königsberg, Olsztyn, Płock and Klaipėda. It possesses a well-preserved historic Old Town, listed as a Historic Monument of Poland, with landmark Gothic churches and a Renaissance town hall. It was an important education center in the early modern period, and the place of pioneering surgical operations by renown Polish 19th-century surgeon Ludwik Rydygier.
