The Japanese School of Brussels a.s.b.l. (ブラッセル日本人学校, Burasseru Nihonjin Gakkō, JSB) is a Japanese international school located in Auderghem, Brussels. The school serves elementary and junior high school levels. It is Belgium's only Japanese international school. The Japanese Supplementary School of Brussels (ブラッセル日本人学校補習校, Burasseru Nihonjin gakkō hoshūkō), a supplementary school operated on Saturdays, is held on the premises of the JSB.The presence of the school has drawn Japanese families with school-aged children to the area around the school. Marie Conte-Helm, author of The Japanese and Europe: Economic and Cultural Encounters, wrote that the school "acts as a focal point for all local Japanese." Chin Ling Pang (Chinese: 彭靜蓮; pinyin: Péng Jìnglián), the author of Negotiating Identity in Contemporary Japan: The Case of Kikokushijo, wrote that the Japanese School of Brussels "functions as a microcosm of the Japanese community in Brussels."School's funding comes from Japanese companies and the Ministry of Education of Japan (Monbusho) in an equal proportion, along with tuition fees paid by parents of Saturday school pupils. Revenue in 2019-2020 school year was 2,085,580 euros with expenses being 1,721,896 euros .

Delta is a Brussels metro and railway station in the municipality of Auderghem/Oudergem, Brussels Capital Region. It is also the site of the primary maintenance facility for all heavy metro rolling stock. Because of this, Delta originates the Brussels Metro's earliest services in the morning and is also the last station where metro trains terminate at night. The maintenance complex also services a large fleet of buses. The main railway station, located within the same complex, encompasses two platforms and is served by the suburban services of NMBS/SNCB line 26 linking Vilvoorde with Halle via Etterbeek. There is a direct link between the metro and railway tracks within the station, enabling transportation of metro rolling stock by way of the Belgian rail network. Delta station is located near the intersection of Boulevard du Triomphe/Triomflaan and Boulevard des Invalides/Invalidenlaan and provides access to the adjacent Plaine campus of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and to the Etterbeek campus of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The station was inaugurated on 20 September 1976, as part of the first heavy metro segment of the network, located on the branch from Mérode to Beaulieu, which is now a part of line 1A. Delta is notable for being the only station in the Brussels Metro network to be named after a feature of itself rather than after a street name, neighborhood, or other adjacent location: The name derives from the triangular shape of the maintenance complex as seen from the air, which is reminiscent of the Greek capital letter Delta (Δ).

In 1972 Boston University became the first major American university to offer graduate business management degrees in Europe with the opening of its campus in Brussels, Belgium.Due to its location in the unofficial capital of Europe, home to the European Union and NATO, the school placed a strong emphasis on international business, and the student body comprised a diverse range of nationalities and cultures. Participants typically had several years of work experience and were often employed by one of the many multinational corporations and government organizations located in the Benelux region. Classes were held throughout the day or during weekday evenings allowing students to earn a graduate degree within 18–24 months while working full-time. Boston University Brussels closed its doors in early 2014.

Hankar is one of the Brussels metro stations on the eastern branch of line 5. It was formerly on line 1A, until April 2009. The station was opened in 1976 and is named after Square Baron Robert Hankar. The station features a giant mural by Roger Somville.

The 20 km of Brussels (French: 20 km de Bruxelles, Dutch: 20 km door Brussel) is a 20.1 km running race that has been held each year in Brussels since 1980, usually in May. It used to have a maximum number of 25,000 entries, which were normally sold out quite quickly after places go on sale in March, but in 2010 a staggered start-time approach led to an increased maximum number of entries of 40,000. The race is a major event in Brussels, with a large turnout of supporters. The course is quite challenging, particularly due to the gentle, long overall climb and several tunnels between kilometer three and seven as well as the long and steep climb on Avenue de Tervueren towards the end of the race. The exact course distance has varied over time. The 2014 course officially covers 20.1 km. The course often did not cover a complete 20 km circuit in its early history. The 2000 race was significantly shorter than the full distance and both the men's and women's winners finished the race more than three minutes ahead of the world records at the time.

Watermael railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Watermael-Boitsfort in Brussels, Belgium operated by SNCB/NMBS. The station is located on the line 161 connecting Brussels to Namur, between the stations of Etterbeek and Boitsfort. It has been painted many times by famous painter Paul Delvaux.

Demey is one of the Brussels metro stations on the eastern branch of line 5 and was opened in 1977. it is named after a former Mayor of Auderghem, Gustave Demey. Until the opening of the extension to Herrmann-Debroux in 1985, Demey station was the eastern terminus of line 1A. This part of line 1A became part of line 5 in April 2009. The station is located in Auderghem.

Pétillon is one of the Brussels Metro stations on the eastern branch of line 5. The metro station is located in the municipality of Etterbeek. The station was opened in 1976 and is named after Major Pétillon, a Belgian colonial pioneer who died in Etterbeek in 1909. The station underwent an 18-month, 6.3 million euro renovation ending in April 2008. The nearby tram station that bears the same name is visited by tram lines 7 and 25. Pigeon infestation is a continuous problem.

Vesalius College, also known commonly as VeCo, is a college situated in the heart of Brussels, Belgium. The college is operated in association with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. It is named after Andreas Vesalius, one of the first and foremost pioneers in the study of Anatomy who lived during the Renaissance period. The college was founded in 1987 and offers three-year Bachelor's degree programs in accordance with the Bologna process. Vesalius College is one of the few educational institutions in Belgium which teaches exclusively in English.
