Deir as-Sudan

Bani Zeid al-Sharqiya (Arabic: بني زيد الشرقية) is a Palestinian town in the northern West Bank, located north of Ramallah in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. It was formed as a result of a merger of the villages of 'Arura, Mazari al-Nubani, and Abwein, although the latter separated from the municipality. Bani Zeid al-Sharqiya is 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) north of Ajjul and other nearby localities include Deir as-Sudan to the southeast, Kafr Ein to the east, and Abwein to the southwest.

Mazari an-Nubani (Arabic: مزارع النوباني) is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located 25 kilometers North of Ramallah in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 2,436 inhabitants in 2017.

‘Arura (Arabic: عاروره, ‘Arūrā) is a Palestinian town located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank, north of Ramallah. Most of the village is situated 500 meters above sea level.

Qarawat Bani Zeid (Arabic: قراوة بني زيد) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located 22 kilometers northwest of Ramallah in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), Qarawat Bani Zeid had a population of 3,415 inhabitants in 2017. Almost all of Qarawat Bani Zeid is under the complete control of the Palestinian National Authority, as it is located within Area A. Situated close to the village mosque is the remains of a Roman pool, about 60 meters underground.

Nabi Salih (Arabic: النبي صالح al-Nabī ṣālḥ; alternatively spelled Nabi Saleh) is a small Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank, located 20 kilometers northwest of Ramallah. It had a population of 522 in 2017. It is noted for the weekly marches to protest the occupation undertaken since 2010, a practice suspended in 2016, after 350 villagers were estimated to have suffered injuries in clashes with Israeli troops over that period.

Umm Safa/Kafr Ishwa (Arabic: أم صفا) or Um Al-Safa is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.

Kafr Ein (Arabic: كفر عين) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), Kafr Ein had a population of 1,958 inhabitants in 2017. Most of the village's population comes from the Barghouti, Rifa' and Rafati clans.

Ajjul (Arabic: عجّول) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank, located north of Ramallah. There are two archaeological sites or khirbets to the east of the village. One of the khirbets is dedicated to a former resident of Ajjul, Sheikh Abdul. Ajjul is governed by a village council of three members.

Halamish (Hebrew: חַלָּמִישׁ, lit. 'Flint'), also known as Neveh Tzuf (Hebrew: נְוֵה צוּף, lit. 'Oasis of Nectar'), is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, located in the southwestern Samarian hills to the north of Ramallah, 10.7 kilometers east of the Green line. The Orthodox Jewish community was established in 1977. It is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,543. The settlement of Neveh Tzuf is home to the religious pre-army Mechina Elisha.The international community considers Israeli settlements illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

The Halamish attack, or the Halamish massacre was a terrorist attack on a Jewish family in the West Bank Israeli settlement of Halamish (also known as Neve Tzuf), that took place on 21 July 2017, in which three Israelis were stabbed to death and one severely wounded. The victims of the attack were Yosef Salomon, his daughter Chaya and son Elad, the three who were murdered in the attack, and Tova Salomon, Yosef's wife, who was injured but survived.The assailant, a Palestinian from nearby village, was shot by a neighbor and was arrested. It was later discovered that he identified with Hamas and had previously been arrested several times by Palestinian security forces.

Farkha (Arabic: فرخة) is a Palestinian village located in the Salfit Governorate in the northern West Bank, 30 kilometers south of Nablus. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of 1,650 in 2017.

Jibiya is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. It was founded after the 16th century. It is mentioned in text from 1697.
