Compton Hill Reservoir Park

Compton Heights is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. It is bordered by Interstate 44 to the north, Nebraska Avenue to the east, Shenandoah Avenue to the south, and Grand Boulevard to the west. Compton Hill Reservoir Park, home to the landmark Compton Water Tower, lies within the neighborhood. Compton Heights was one of the country's earliest planned residential developments of the nineteenth century. Its 1889 layout adhered to a plan that viewed nature as a neighbor, rather than as an enemy to be subjugated by a rectilinear grid. This is seen today in the neighborhood's wide setbacks and curving streets that create remarkable vistas, punctuated by more than 200 homes of extraordinary and varied interest. The entire neighborhood is a national historic district.

Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience is a magnet high school in St. Louis, Missouri. It was established in 2013 and is part of the St. Louis Public Schools district.

William Buehler House is a property in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is at 2610 Tennessee Avenue. The Richardsonian Romanesque red brick home was built from 1894-1896. It has a two-story carriage house at its rear. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in November 2000. It was designed by Herman Lemm and built by P. Schneider and Company. The house is significant locally for its architecture and is a rare Richardsonian Romanesque house in a neighborhood whose large homes are Italianate, Queen Anne, and Dutch Colonial style. The three-story house is prominent in the Tower Grove East neighborhood and illustrates the development patterns of St. Louis southwest of downtown.: 19  Frank Brockel lived in the house before he served in World War I.

Immaculate Conception Church and Rectory is a former Catholic church and adjacent rectory in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is the home of the Compton Heights Concert Band. The former church and rectory are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a non-profit 195-bed inpatient and outpatient pediatric medical center in St. Louis, Missouri. Since its founding in 1956, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon has provided care for children regardless of ability to pay. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon primarily serves children from eastern Missouri and southern Illinois, but also treats children across the United States and from countries around the world. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon also serves as a teaching hospital affiliated with the neighboring Saint Louis University Schools of Medicine and Nursing, and nine other education institutes. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon is a member of SSM Health, one of the largest Catholic health care systems in the country. SSM Health is sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Mary and owns, operates and manages hospitals in four states — Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. In 2002, SSM Health was the first health care organization in the country to be named a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winner.

Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice was founded in 2013 by the combining of the School of Social Work, founded in 1930, the School of Public Health, established 1991, and the program in Criminology and Criminal Justice. The College has as its purpose to improve the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable.

Saint Louis University School of Medicine is a private, Jesuit medical school. Part of Saint Louis University, the institution was established in 1836. The school has an enrollment of around 700, with about 550 faculty members and 550 residents in 48 graduate medical education programs including residencies, subspecialty residencies and fellowships. The institution centers its research in five specific areas: cancer, infectious disease, liver disease, aging/neurological disorders, and heart/lung disease. Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and Saint Louis University Hospital are the two main affiliated teaching hospitals of the school.

Saint Louis University Hospital (SLU Hospital) is a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center located in St. Louis, Missouri, providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region. The medical center is a part of the SSM Health System and is affiliated with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. SLUH features an ACS designated adult Level 1 Trauma Center and has a helipad to handle medevac patients. From 1998 to 2015, this hospital was owned by the for-profit Tenet Healthcare Corporation. In June, 2015, the university announced that it would reacquire the hospital and transfer it to the non-profit Catholic hospital system SSM Health Care in the third quarter of 2015. It serves as the main teaching hospital for the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Tiffany is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. It is located on the western side of Grand Boulevard along the section containing St. Louis University's Medical Complex. The neighborhood is defined by Chouteau Avenue on the North, Interstate 44 on the South, Grand Boulevard on the East, and 39th Street on the West.

Desloge Chapel is a Gothic church in St. Louis, Missouri. Located at Grand Avenue and Vista Avenue, it was designed by Gothic revivalist architect Ralph Adams Cram to echo the Sainte-Chapelle chapel in Paris. Built in 1931-33 for the Firmin Desloge Hospital, now St. Louis University Medical Center, the chapel serves as an ecumenical pastoral chapel for the hospital complex, and is formally designated the Chapel of Christ the Crucified King by the Roman Catholic church within the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Firmin Desloge Hospital is a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, opened in 1932 by the Jesuits of Saint Louis University and the Sisters of Saint Mary. Named for the benefactor, Firmin V. Desloge, it was established to serve the poor and others in need. Located on Grand Avenue between Vista Avenue and Rutger Avenue, Firmin Desloge Hospital is today the main hospital building of the St. Louis University Medical Center.

The Gate District is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The Gate District is defined as the area between Chouteau Avenue and Interstate 44 on the north and south and between South Jefferson Avenue and South Grand Boulevard on the east and west. This area is just south of the central corridor and west of Lafayette Square. The term Gate was added to define this neighborhood due to the number of ironclad gates lining the streets. Today, the neighborhood is the subject of increased gentrification.
