The Montrose Swing Bridge is located on the Welland River at the junction with the Queenston Power Canal in the southeast portion of the City of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. It was built ca. 1910 to carry the Canada Southern Railway over the river (click the link to see a discussion of companies who used the Canada Southern tracks over the years). It is a two-track bridge, although only one track remains in use today. It crosses the river at roughly a 45-degree angle. This bridge is visually similar to the Welland Canal, Bridge 15, although it is a Warren truss, compared to the Baltimore truss of Bridge 15.

The Niagara Square was a shopping centre and former mall in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The Niagara Square opened in 1977. The interior of the shopping centre was closed in 2017, while some stores remained open in the exterior. Before its closure, the Niagara Square was a 36,000-square-metre (390,000 sq ft) shopping centre with 83 units. Before the demolition of the shopping centre, more than 30% of the tenants occupying the space had left prior to its closure. In 2019, the property began its redevelopment and as of December 2020, the majority of the original interior mall has been demolished, with the exterior businesses open and intact.

Niagara Falls is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1953. It consists of the city of Niagara Falls and the towns of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Fort Erie.

Its boundaries were significantly redrawn in 1999, when Ontario adjusted all of its provincial electoral divisions to match those at the federal level.

The Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology (frequently shortened to Niagara College and branded as Niagara College Canada) is a public College of Applied Arts and Technology within the Niagara Region and the city of Toronto in Southern Ontario, Canada.The college has three campuses within Ontario: the Welland Campus in Welland, the Daniel J. Patterson Campus/Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Toronto School of Management Partnership Campus in Toronto. Additionally it has international operations across Asia, including multiple campuses in Saudi Arabia under its Niagara College KSA subsidiary, and the Canada-China College in Wuhan, China. Their Maid of the Mist Campus in Niagara Falls closed in 2018.The college has 12,500 full-time students, including about 4,000 international students from a variety of countries. It offers approximately 100 post-secondary diploma, baccalaureate degrees and advanced level programs. Niagara College employs 291 faculty, 89 administration staff and 224 support staff and has graduated more than 50,000 students.

Dragon Mountain is a steel roller coaster located at Marineland of Canada near Niagara Falls, Ontario. Built by Arrow Huss, it opened to the public on July 16, 1983. At its opening, it claimed to have the longest ride time of 3 minutes and 30 seconds and the longest track length of 5,500 feet (1,700 m), though both of these statistics were exceeded by The Beast four years earlier.Dragon Mountain reaches a maximum elevation of 186 feet (57 m), which is considered the total difference in height experienced throughout the course of the ride, as the roller coaster's support structure follows closely to the terrain. The ride covers 30 acres (12 ha) of land and is considered the "world's largest" roller coaster on that basis; however, The Beast at Kings Island opened four years earlier and travels across 36 acres (15 ha) of land, meaning that it never actually held that record. It is also the only roller coaster with a bowtie element. Upon the opening in the early 80's, the ride was missing the proposed volcano facade around the helix, and the miniature waterfalls built around the stretch of track after exiting the first tunnel. These unthemed parts of the ride had nothing but the framework, which was constructed along with the track. In 2006, Marineland decided to complete the volcano to improve the ride's appearance. Whether the park would like to add more to the facade to make it look more like a volcano is unknown. This has been the only improvement to the ride's theming, as the other incomplete section has remained untouched.

The Niagara Falls Convention Centre is a convention centre located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, along Stanley Avenue and Dunn Street. It was previously known as the Scotiabank Convention Centre from 2011 to 2021 and was renamed after Scotiabank's naming rights expired.

Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls is a 335 feet (102 m) tall hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The hotel opened in 1993 as 20-story the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. The hotel was expanded in 2000, adding floors 22–31. The hotel left Sheraton for Marriott in 2011 and became the Marriott Gateway on the Falls. It was renamed Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls in 2017. There are two rooms on the 32nd floor which are only used when the hotel has no rooms (or by request). Being one of the tallest structures in the city, it can be seen throughout the general tourist area. The hotel was host to the first webcam overlooking Niagara Falls. Installed in 1998 at the former top floor prior to the expansion in 2000. In 2012 the webcam was replaced as part of the $15 million renovation of the structure initiated in 2011. This is one of the original Fallsview hotels.

The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa is a 197 feet (60 m) tall hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The hotel opened in 1998 with over 20 room floors, as well as three additional levels for Spa, Lobby, and Restaurant/Mezzanine. The addition of a second tower section in the year 2002 increased the number of rooms by 185 across 14 guest floors in a 17-story structure. Being one of the tallest structures in the region, it can be seen throughout the general tourist area.

The Tower Hotel, opened in 1962, is located in the Fallsview district of Niagara Falls, Ontario and was the first of the contemporary observation towers built near the brink of the Falls. It features an indoor observation deck, restaurant, and hotel. The tower is 99 metres (325 feet) tall above street level and 160 metres (520 feet) above the falls. The tower assumed its present name in 2010 as a result of its most recent renovation; as Minolta was the longest-tenured sponsor of the building, tourists and locals may still call it the Minolta Tower.

The Rankine Generating Station is a former hydro-electric generating station along the Canadian side of the Niagara River in Niagara Falls, Ontario, slightly downstream from the older Toronto Power Generating Station. It was built in for the Canadian Niagara Power Company and named for company's founder William Birch Rankine (b. 1858), a New York City (and later of Niagara Falls) lawyer originally from Geneva, New York who died three days after (in Grafton, New Hampshire) the station opened in 1905 and renamed in 1927. Acquired by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation in 1950 and in 2002, the station became a wholly owned subsidiary of FortisOntario (and part of Canadian owned Fortis Inc.). It was decommissioned in 2006. It reopened in July 2021 as a tourist site.

The Fallsview Tourist Area in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada is the main tourist attraction surrounding the Falls. In recent years, it has become the home many of the hotels in the city, such as: the Niagara Falls Hilton, Niagara Falls Marriott Gateway, and the recently opened Comfort Inn Fallsview. Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort is also located near the centre of this area. It is also the location of the Skylon Tower and Minolta Tower. The area is linked to the Table Rock Center and Journey Behind the Falls, on the Niagara Parkway just above the falls, by the Falls Incline Railway.
