FAU Soccer Stadium is a soccer venue located in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. It has been home to the Florida Atlantic Owls men's soccer & women's soccer teams of the NCAA Division I Conference USA since 1980. It was completed as part of a 10-year development program to create five on-campus soccer fields in conjunction with the Greater Boca Raton Beach Tax District. The stadium features a natural grass playing surface perfect for competition at any level as well as a lighted field to facilitate night games. Renovations began in the spring of 2017 and included new and improved bleachers to seat 1,000. FAU has utilized the stadium to host numerous events, including the 2017 Conference USA Women's Soccer Tournament. Other tournaments held at FAU Soccer Stadium have included the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer Championship in 2000 and 2003 and the Sun Belt Conference Women's Tournament in 2009. The complex has also served as a practice site for several international teams, Team USA and women's soccer professional combines. FAU has held matches against the Colorado Rapids and Real Salt Lake during the MLS teams' spring training as well. Most recently, it was the home field for the magicJack franchise in the Women's Professional Soccer league, featuring U.S. Olympians Abby Wambach, Hope Solo and Christie Rampone.

FAU Baseball Stadium is a baseball venue located in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. It has been home to the Florida Atlantic Owls baseball team of the NCAA Division I Conference USA since 1991. The venue has a capacity of 2,000 spectators and features Triple-A-quality lighting.

Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena, formerly known as FAU Arena and RoofClaim.com Arena and commonly known as The Burrow, is a 2,900-seat multi-purpose arena located on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University.

The Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium is a theater in Boca Raton, Florida on the campus of Florida Atlantic University. The 2,400-seat hall was constructed in 1980 and opened in 1982.

It was established in 1967 and provides patient care in areas such as cardiovascular, oncology, women's health, orthopedics, emergency medicine and the neurosciences. The Lavender House (also known as the Hermann V. von Holst House) is a historic home in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. It is located at 875 Alamanda Street. On February 24, 1995, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Modern real estate agents in Boca Raton tend to mistakenly describe von Holst's residential work there as by the colorful, quixotic Addison Mizner. While Mizner did serve as the general contractor and developer of "Floresta" in its initial stage, the architectural plans for these homes were by von Holst, who was a distinguished Chicago Prairie School architect who relocated to Florida for this purpose. Soon after the neighborhood was begun, Mizner defaulted on payments to contractors and was successfully sued by von Holst, et al., and thereafter von Holst took chief responsibility for nurturing Floresta to success. Lucy von Holst, along with the wives of their two remaining partners (John Verhoeven and Fred Aiken), prepared unsold homes for stylish winter rentals for snowbirds. The true story of old Floresta has been carefully documented by Dr. Donald W. Curl in the journal of the Boca Raton Historical Society. There are two houses listed in the National Register in Boca Raton. The other house is the Fred C. Aiken House, two blocks away from the Lavender House, where Boca Raton's third Mayor, Fred C. Aiken lived for 31 years.

The Fred C. Aiken House is a good example of Addison Mizner's Mediterranean-inspired architecture from 1925. This historically designated residence is Located at the corner of Paloma Avenue and Hibiscus Street, in the Old Floresta Historic District in Boca Raton, Florida.

Sugar Sand Park is a municipal park located in Boca Raton, Florida. It was developed by the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District. It is operated by the City of Boca Raton. It has won several awards for excellence, such as "Best of the Best Parks" in 2007. In 2017 the park was reopened after a major project to improve the park and make it accessible to people of all abilities. The playground is completely wheelchair accessible and several activity stations have been added for the benefit of children with physical and cognitive disabilities.

With 19 varsity athletic teams, the Owls have won numerous titles and championships within the conference and division. On October 21, 2021, Florida Atlantic accepted the invitation to join the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and will become a full-member on July 1, 2023.

Town Center at Boca Raton, often referred to as Boca Town Center, Town Center Mall, or simply Town Center, is an upscale shopping mall located in Boca Raton, Florida (approximately 30 miles south of West Palm Beach and 20 miles north of Fort Lauderdale), that has been owned and operated by Simon Property Group since 1998. The mall is home to five major department store anchors: Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Notable tenants among 200+ merchants including The Container Store, Crate & Barrel, Forever 21, Apple Store, Tesla, Pandora Jewelry, Louis Vuitton, and many others. The mall is the largest enclosed and conventional shopping mall in Palm Beach County, and is the third largest in total by square footage in South Florida, behind Sawgrass Mills and Aventura Mall.

The population was 97,422 in the 2020 census and it ranked as the 344th largest city in the United States in 2021. However, many people with a Boca Raton postal address live outside of municipal boundaries, such as in West Boca Raton. As a business center, the city also experiences significant daytime population increases. A part of South Florida, Boca Raton is 45 miles (72 km) north of Miami and is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which had a population of 6,012,331 as of 2015. It was first incorporated on August 2, 1924 as "Bocaratone," and then incorporated as "Boca Raton" on May 26, 1925. While the area had been inhabited by the Glades culture, as well as Spanish and later British colonial empires prior to its annexation by the United States, the city's present form was developed predominantly by Addison Mizner starting in the 1920s. Mizner contributed to many buildings in the area having Mediterranean Revival or Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. Boca Raton also became a key city in the development of the early computer industry. The city is the birthplace of IBM's first personal computer and various other technologies created by the company. Brightline has a Boca Raton station that provides passenger rail service to Miami and eventually Orlando. Still centered around luxury beach culture, the city today is dotted by many malls and shopping centers. The ODP Corporation, which operates Office Depot and OfficeMax, is headquartered here. Boca Raton is also home to the main campus of Florida Atlantic University and the Evert Tennis Academy, owned by former professional tennis player Chris Evert. The city has a strict development code for the size and types of commercial buildings, building signs, and advertisements that may be erected within the city limit, which has led to major thoroughfares without billboards and large advertisements, as well as increased green spaces on roads.
