Arcadia High School (New York)

Our Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church Complex is a historic former Roman Catholic church complex located at Greece in Monroe County, New York. The complex consists of the Romanesue Revival style brick church (ca.1858–1878) and the adjacent community cemetery (1823–ca.1900). The church was converted for use as a public library.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Bush in 2005.The school gained increased prominence after the February 15, 2006 Trojans basketball game vs the Spencerport Rangers when basketball coach Jim Johnson inserted his team manager Jason McElwain with 4 minutes and 19 seconds left on the clock, McElwain, who has autism, ended up scoring twenty points including six three-point shots and one two-point shot, when the buzzer rang the crowd stormed the court in celebration and lifted McElwain on their shoulders.

Greece Athena Middle School is a middle school in Greece, New York, a suburb of Rochester; it is located on the 3rd floor of the Athena Complex & covers grades 6–8. This school (along with the high school) was visited by President George W. Bush in 2005. The school is also the location of the Greece Central Performing Arts Center (G.P.A.C.). The high school shares the library together with the middle school, along with the G.P.A.C.

WGMC (90.1 FM) is a listener-supported station licensed to Greece, New York and serving Rochester, New York. It airs a Jazz radio format. On air, the station is identified as "Jazz 90.1" in reference to its FM frequency. WGMC specializes in all styles of jazz, but is also an important outlet for music and voices that do not make it onto commercial radio. Owned by the Greece Central School District but operated independently, the WGMC studios are located in the Greece Olympia High School media center.

Odyssey Academy is a middle/high school in the town of Greece, New York. It is part of the Greece Central School District. Odyssey Academy serves over 1,000 students, partially selected by a random lottery from applicants across Greece, serving grades 6-12. During the summer of 2012, Odyssey Academy moved from 133 Hoover Drive to the former Apollo Middle School location at 750 Maiden Lane. 133 Hoover Drive was the location for Hoover Drive Middle School before becoming Greece Odyssey in 1993. In 2004, it became Odyssey Academy and is one of the oldest school buildings in Greece, having been built in 1928 as a K-8 school known as Willis N. Britton School, the same time Paddy Hill's formed Greece Consolidated School District #5 School, and when the Dewey Stone area Union Free School District 15 was known as Barnard. It was not until the 1961 school year when it became a junior high school for students in grades 7-9 and the elementary grades were divided up and sent to other district schools in Greece Central School District.

St. Charles Borromeo Church is a Roman Catholic parish of the Latin Rite. It serves the Barnard neighborhood of Greece, New York in Monroe County. It is on the corner of Dewey Avenue and Maiden Lane. It was founded in 1925 by Bishop Hickey on the request of Leo Lawson and George Pearson, and it included 72 families at its founding, and the first parish Mass was Sunday, November 6, 1925 . Charlotte High School was a public high school in Rochester, operated by the Rochester City School District. The school is named for Charlotte, formerly an incorporated village in the Town of Greece and now a neighborhood in the city of Rochester. The school closed in June 2016.

The 1978 Holiday Inn fire broke out at a Holiday Inn hotel located at 1525 West Ridge Road in the town of Greece, New York, United States, on November 26, 1978. The fire was considered notable enough by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Center for Fire Research to document the fire in their 1979 publications. In the end, ten people were killed and 34 injured; seven of the fatalities were Canadian nationals. In 2008, the NFPA listed the 1978 Holiday Inn fire as one of only three dozen or so fires which killed ten or more people in the U.S. between 1934 and 2006.

Shingleside is a historic home in Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It was constructed in 1898–1899 and is an L-shaped, 2+1⁄2-story, wood-framed, wood-shingled, gambrel-roofed house. It was designed by noted local architect Claude Fayette Bragdon in a style influenced by the Shingle and Colonial Revival styles.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
