BBC Radio Cambridgeshire is the BBC's local radio station serving the county of Cambridgeshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios at the Cambridge Business Park on Cowley Road in Cambridge. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 66,000 listeners and a 3.6% share as of March 2023.

Cambridge Business Park is a large business complex in Cambridge, England, owned by the Crown Estate. It is home to many companies, mostly IT-related, such as Qualcomm, Autonomy, MathWorks and Red Gate Software, but also intellectual property firms such as Mewburn Ellis, Venner Shipley and Mathys and Squire. It is close to Cambridge North railway station and the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway, as well as Cambridge Business Park and St John's Innovation Centre.

TeraView Limited, or TeraView, is a company that designs terahertz imaging and spectroscopy instruments and equipment for measurement and evaluation of pharmaceutical tablets, nanomaterials, ceramics and composites, integrated circuit chips and more.TeraView was co-founded by Michael Pepper (CSO) and Dr Don Arnone (CEO) as a spin-out of Toshiba Research Europe in April 2001. The company was set up to exploit the intellectual property and expertise developed in sourcing and detecting terahertz radiation (1 THz= 33.3 cm−1), using semiconductor technologies. Leading industry proponents of the technology sit on its Advisory Board, and TeraView maintains close links with the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, which was one of the research universities which had an interest in Terahertz techniques. It is also where Professor Pepper, has held the position of Professor of Physics since 1987.

St John's Innovation Centre (SJIC) is a business incubator in Cambridge, England. It houses a concentration of science and technology related businesses.

Bramblefields is a 2.1 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Cambridge. It is owned and managed by Cambridge City Council.The site in the middle of a residential area has grassland, scrub and a pond with invertebrates such as frogs and newts. Birds include song thrushes.Part of the area is inaccessible behind fencing. At the one stage access to the new train station was proposed through here, but this was rejected by the city council in 2013. There is access from Laxton Way, Long Reach Road, Pippin Drive and Discovery Way.

Cambridge North railway station is a railway station located in the Cambridge suburb of Chesterton, close to Cambridge Science Park. The station is on the Fen Line, which runs from Cambridge to King's Lynn. It connects to the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway, and provides an interchange with Park & Ride and local bus services. The station was approved in December 2013; construction commenced in July 2014; and it opened on 21 May 2017, delayed from December 2015.It has three platforms: platform 1 on the eastern side of the station serves southbound fast services to Cambridge, Stansted Airport, and London King's Cross as well as some morning peak-time services to London Liverpool Street; platform 2 serves northbound services to Ely, King’s Lynn and Norwich; platform 3 is a south-facing bay serving semi-fast and slow services to London Liverpool Street via Cambridge and Bishop's Stortford. A few services King’s Lynn to or from London King’s Cross pass through without stopping. All Cross Country services to or from Birmingham New Street and Stansted Airport also pass through without stopping.

Chesterton railway station was located on the line between Cambridge and Histon. It opened in 1850 and closed the same year.

Chesterton was a rural district in Cambridgeshire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was formed in 1894 as a successor to the Chesterton rural sanitary district. In 1934, under a County Review Order, its boundaries were altered, taking in the disbanded Swavesey Rural District and part of the disbanded Caxton and Arrington Rural District. It also ceded an area to the borough of Cambridge. In 1965 it became part of the new administrative county of Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Ely. The district was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, and merged with the South Cambridgeshire Rural District to form a new South Cambridgeshire district.

The A1309 is a short road (1.9 miles) which links the two ends of the A10 to north and south of Cambridge city centre in Cambridgeshire, England. It was numbered as part of the A10 prior to the construction of the Cambridge Western Bypass (now M11) and the Northern Bypass (originally A45, now A14).Its northern end is at the Milton Interchange with the A14 and A10. From here, it passes the Cambridge Science Park, the Cambridge Business Park, and the Cowley Road Park & Ride site, as Milton Road on its way to the Mitchams Corner gyratory complex just to the north of the city centre. It is unmarked through the city centre, but reappears to the south on the route of the A1134 ring road named Trumpington Road which then becomes Trumpington High Street. In Trumpington, it has a junction with the A1301 and then passes the Trumpington Park & Ride site before its southern end at junction 11 of the M11 motorway and the A10.

Star Radio is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting on 100.7 MHz in Cambridge, 107.1 MHz in Ely, 107.3 MHz in Saffron Walden, and 107.9 MHz in Haverhill. It was originally launched as "Cambridge Café Radio". Later in 1998 it was relaunched as "Cambridge Red" and six months later as 107.9 The Eagle. In 1999, the UKRD Group purchased the station. The following year it renamed Red as "107.9 The Eagle", in line with the other stations they owned. In 2001, UKRD rebranded the station again to Star 107.9, in line with the rebranding of their other stations. As of March 2023, the station has a weekly audience of 24,000 listeners according to RAJAR.

Chesterton is a suburb in the northeast corner of Cambridge, in the Cambridge district, in the county of Cambridgeshire, England, 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Cambridge station, on the north bank of the River Cam.

Barnwell Junction railway station served the suburb of Barnwell, Cambridgeshire, England from 1884 to 1966 on the Cambridge to Mildenhall railway.
