The Alexander von Humboldt statue is a monumental statue in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Located in Humboldt Park, a major urban park in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, the statue depicts Alexander von Humboldt, a Prussian polymath and the park's namesake. The statue was dedicated in 1892.

The Leif Erikson statue is a monumental statue honoring Leif Erikson in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Located in the city's Humboldt Park, the statue was designed by Sigvald Asbjørnsen and erected in 1901.

The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture (formerly Institute of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture) is a museum in Chicago dedicated to interpreting the arts and culture of the Puerto Rican people and of the Puerto Ricans in Chicago. Founded in 2001, it is housed in the historic landmark Humboldt Park stables and receptory, near the Paseo Boricua. It hosts visual arts exhibitions, community education, and festivals. Its exhibitions have featured the artwork of Osvaldo Budet, Elizam Escobar, Antonio Martorell, Ramon Frade Leon, and Lizette Cruz, in addition to local Chicago or Puerto Rican artists. The Institute also sponsors music events including an annual Navi-Jazz performance, described as a "fusion of Puerto Rican and African American musical elements."The Institute is a non-profit organization that is supported in part by the Chicago Park District's museum-in-the-parks program. The museum is a member organization of the Chicago Cultural Alliance.

Humboldt Park Health, formerly known as Norwegian American Hospital, is a nonprofit safety net hospital in Humboldt Park, Chicago that was founded in 1894.It has about 900 employees, of which about 350 are medical personnel. It receives about $38 million a year from the Illinois Hospital Assessment Program which funds the Emergency Department, Wound Clinic, Cardiology, and the Comprehensive Diabetes Center. It runs a pediatric mobile medical unit which is known as the Norwegian American Hospital Pediatric Care-A-Van, which is partly funded by the Children's Care Foundation.In July 2018, it reported that it had a serious problem with a shortage of morphine and other painkillers in the emergency room, which is run by US Acute Care Solutions.On January 28, 2021, the change to Humboldt Park Health from Norwegian American Hospital was made by the administration.

Paseo Boricua (loosely translated as "Boricua (Puerto Rican) Promenade") is a section of Division Street in the Humboldt Park community of the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. It is located on Division Street, which is between Western and California avenues, in the neighborhood of Humboldt Park, more commonly known as 'Little Puerto Rico.' Paseo Boricua is a microcosm of the Puerto Rican community.This section is flanked at each end by a public art project installed in 1995; fifty-nine-foot-tall (18-metre) Puerto Rican flags made of steel, gateways to Paseo Boricua. This street is dedicated to Puerto Rican pride and has a walk of fame with the names of many outstanding Puerto Ricans. Many businesses are named after Puerto Rican towns. The Façades of some buildings have been designed to look as if they come from old San Juan with Spanish Colonial architecture. The Humboldt Park Paseo Boricua neighborhood is the flagship of all Puerto Rican enclaves. This neighborhood is the economic political and cultural capital of the Puerto Rican community in the Midwest.

Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos Puerto Rican High School (PACHS) is an alternative high school located in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the Paseo Boricua in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is named for Puerto Rican nationalist Pedro Albizu Campos, and was founded in 1972 as La Escuelita Puertorriqueña, originally in the basement of a Chicago church. The school is NALSAS accredited, a founding member of the Alternative Schools Network, and a campus of the Youth Connection Charter School in Chicago. PACHS celebrated its 40th anniversary in January 2013.

Association House High School is a high school located in Association House of Chicago in Humboldt Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. Formally known as El Cuarto Año High School, Association House High School is a campus of the Youth Connection Charter School in Chicago and a member of the Alternative Schools Network. Association House High School has an enrollment of 155 youth, aged 16–21.

The Bloomingdale Trail is a 2.7-mile (4.3 km) elevated rail trail running east–west on the northwest side of Chicago. It is the longest greenway project of a former rail line in the Western Hemisphere, and the second longest in the world, after the Promenade plantee rail trail in Paris. In 2015, the City of Chicago converted the former Bloomingdale Line into an elevated greenway, which forms the backbone of the linear park and trail network called The 606. The Bloomingdale Trail elevated park touches the neighborhoods of Logan Square, Humboldt Park, and West Town.

The library started out in the now-defunct MoJoe's coffee shop, a Roscoe Village hangout and hub for zine-related activity in Chicago.It moved to Humboldt Park in 2011.
