Mashpee River Reservation is a park in Mashpee, Massachusetts on the Mashpee River. The Trustees of Reservations owns and maintains the park.Pristine shoreline, natural spawning areas, and excellent water quality make the Mashpee River one of Massachusetts' finest sources of sea-run brook trout. Since at least 1915, spirited conservation efforts have led to the protection of this five-mile tidal river which begins at Mashpee and Wakeby Ponds and empties into Pirate's Cove on Popponesset Bay. This area has two miles of trails through the Mashpee River Reservation plus additional connecting trails on property of other conservation organizations and town and state government properties. The Reservation's woodland and shoreline trails form a link in the Cape Cod Pathways.

The Avant House, also known as the Timothy Pocknet Homestead is an historic house on Massachusetts Route 130 at Mill Pond in Mashpee, Massachusetts. Built in the late 18th or early 19th century, it is one of the town's oldest surviving buildings. It is now owned and operated by the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe as the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum is a cultural center in the town of Mashpee in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. The town of Mashpee is the location of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, one of the two federally recognized representative bodies of the Wampanoag people. The museum ground itself is well known for the Avant House as well as hosting the Mill Pond Herring Ladder, a Fish ladder on the Mashpee River. Establishing the museum was a passion project of Amelia Peters Bingham. The idea for the museum first came in 1970, but the building was only transferred to the Wampanoag Tribal Council after a unanimous vote to do so during the Mashpee town government's annual meeting in 1997. Since 1999 the site has been listed under the National Register of Historic Places.

Mashpee Middle-High School is a public high school located in Mashpee, Massachusetts, United States. It is located at the intersection of Old Barnstable Road and Route 151, has an approximate enrollment of 700 students in grades 7–12 and is the home of the Technology "Center of Excellence". The school's mascot is the Falcons, and the school colors are Blue, White, and Black.

The Santuit River, also known as the Cotuit River, is a 2.3-mile-long (3.7 km) river on the border between Mashpee and Cotuit, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The river flows southwards from the southern end of Santuit Pond into Popponesset Bay (also known as Shoestring Bay) on the south shore of Cape Cod. The river was a vigorous herring/alewife run and has been reputed to hold sea-run brown trout. It was alleged that overpumping by an adjacent golf course caused the river to run dry in the early 1990s but that charge was denied.

The Santuit Post Office is a historic post office building on Main Street in the Santuit village of Barnstable, Massachusetts. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame cottage was built c. 1846, and exhibits simple Gothic Revival styling reminiscent of seaside cottages that were constructed in the area between 1850 and 1875. The building served as a post office for Santuit village until the 1970s, when it was converted into a private residence.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
