Killesbergpark

The Prag Tunnel is a railway tunnel in the German city of Stuttgart under the Prag, a ridge between the Stuttgart basin and Feuerbach. The two 680 metre-long bores of the tunnel connect Stuttgart North station with Feuerbach station. Trains from Stuttgart run through the tunnel towards Karlsruhe, Mannheim and Heilbronn on the Franconia Railway and the Mannheim–Stuttgart high-speed railway and towards Ludwigsburg and Leonberg on the Stuttgart S-Bahn. The tunnel runs in layers of Gipskeuper rock, containing anhydrite, which swell strongly when in contact with water. The track centres in the two tubes are 3.70 and 4.00 m apart.

The Killesberg Railway (German: Killesbergbahn) is a miniature railway in the Killesberg Park in Stuttgart, Germany. Opened with the park in 1939, the 15 in (381 mm) gauge track travels in a 2,294.35-metre (7,527.4-foot) loop around the park. Diesel locomotives pull trains around the park daily during the summer months whilst steam locomotives are used for special occasions. The park now maintains four locomotives, of which two are powered by diesel and two by steam. Blitzschwoab is the oldest of the two diesel engines, manufactured in 1950. Schwoabapfeil was manufactured in 1992. The steam engines Tazzelwurm and Springerle were delivered to the park in 1950 to replace the two that originally operated on the line until they were removed to Leipzig during World War II. The Killesbergbahn was formerly operated by the Stuttgart Fair company and today by a promotion association.

The Weissenhof Estate (German: Weißenhofsiedlung) is a housing estate built for the 1927 Deutscher Werkbund exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany. It was an international showcase of modern architecture's aspiration to provide cheap, simple, efficient, and good-quality housing.Two buildings designed by Le Corbusier were designated a World Heritage Site in 2016 as part of The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier, an Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement. The remainder of the Estate, and some adjacent streets and buildings, are a part of the Site's buffer zone.

Zuffenhausen is one of three northernmost boroughs of the city of Stuttgart, capital of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The borough is primarily an incorporation of the formerly independent townships Zuffenhausen, Zazenhausen, Neuwirtshaus, and Rot, the latter is a historic town that gained importance in 1945 as a refugee camp for German refugees. As of 2009 around 35,000 people lived in Zuffenhausen's area of 1,200 ha (12 km2), making it the third largest of Stuttgart's outer boroughs. Zuffenhausen is also one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in Stuttgart with evidence of permanent settlements that can be traced back 7,500 years. The etymological roots of "Zuffenhausen" are assumed to be found in the name of a seventh century Alemanni settler "Uffo" or "Offo". The oldest known official denotation as a property of Bebenhausen Abbey by Pope Innocent III dates to May 18, 1204. Zuffenhausen was proclaimed a city in 1907, yet soon financially badly affected by the Great Depression, Zuffenhausen and later Zazenhausen, agreed to the incorporation into Stuttgart city on 1 April 1931. Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen station on the Franconia Railway is served by lines S4, S5, S6 and S60 of the Stuttgart S-Bahn. The headquarters of Porsche and the Porsche Museum are located in Zuffenhausen. Stuttgart Neuwirtshaus (Porscheplatz) station is nearby and served by lines S6 and S60.

The Stuttgart Open (sponsored since 2022 by Hugo Boss and called the BOSS Open) is an ATP Tour 250 series professional tennis tournament on the ATP Tour. Between 1970 and 1989, the Stuttgart Open was a Grand Prix tennis circuit event. From 1990 to 1999, the Stuttgart Open was an ATP Championship Series tournament. The Championship Series name was changed to ATP International Series Gold in 2000, and the Stuttgart Open was a part of this series from 2000–2001 and 2003–2008. In 2002, the Stuttgart Open was briefly demoted for one year to ATP International Series status, which was renamed to the ATP Tour 250 in 2009, and it has retained the classification ever since. Held since 1916 in Stuttgart, Germany and prior to the beginning of World War II the tournament was known as the Championships of Stuttgart, following the second world war its was branded as the Stuttgart International Championships or the Stuttgart Weissenhof International. The Stuttgart Open was played on clay up to and including 2014. Starting in 2015, the tournament is played on grass. Along with the move to grass courts, the tournament is now staged in the week after the French Open finishes.Under the sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz, the tournament champions were awarded a Mercedes car, in addition to the prize money.

Stuttgart North station (German: Stuttgart Nordbahnhof) is a railway station in Stuttgart, Germany, serving the North area of the city. It consists of a passenger railway station on the Stuttgart S-Bahn and a goods yard.

The Robert-Bosch-Hospital (RBK) is a charitable hospital in Stuttgart, Germany, which was founded by Robert Bosch in 1936. Robert Bosch fulfilled a long-cherished wish in 1936 on the occasion of his 75th birthday and the 50th jubilee of his company: he donated a hospital to the city of Stuttgart. The Original hospital with its 360 beds opened in April 1940 and was replaced by a new building at a near-by location in 1973. The hospital is supported by the Robert Bosch Stiftung (Robert Bosch Foundation). The Foundation and the managing board of the Hospital determine the strategic development of the medical, therapeutic and nursing care. The Foundation enables medical research and funds necessary investments which are not met from other sources. Since 1978, the Robert-Bosch-Hospital has been part of the teaching hospital of the University of Tübingen. The Robert-Bosch-Hospital, including Schillerhöhe and gynaecological hospital Charlottenhaus since January, 2006, disposes of more than 771 beds for acute care, 100 beds for geriatric rehabilitation, including 20 therapy places in day hospital, and 15 therapy places in the psychosomatic day hospital. The Robert-Bosch-Hospital admits approximately 32,000 in-patients a year. The centres for internal, operational and diagnostic medicine are part of the hospital as well as a centre for pneumology and thorax surgery. Besides research institutes in clinical pharmacology and history of medicine, other institutions such as an interdisciplinary centre of tumour therapy, a breast centre, a school of nursing and centres for further education are associated with the hospital. The Rems-Murr-hospitals and the Furtbach-hospital are co-operative partners of the Robert-Bosch-Hospital.
