The Academic Center for Law and Science (Hebrew: המרכז האקדמי שערי מדע ומשפט), previously Sha'arei Mishpat Academic Center and earlier Sha'arei Mishpat College is a private college in Hod HaSharon, Israel. It was established in 1995. Justice Prof. Menachem Elon Was its founder and president for the first eight years of its existence. The Academic Center of Law and Science offers undergraduate (LLB) and graduate (LLM) degrees in Law, and undergraduate degrees (BA) in accounting; Public administration, government and Law (BA); and administration of health systems.

Yarkona (Hebrew: יַרְקוֹנָה) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain near Hod HaSharon and Petah Tikva, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 358.

Magdiel (Hebrew: מגדיאל) is one of the four original communities of Jewish agriculturalists that combined in 1964 to form Hod Hasharon, Israel. It was founded in 1924 and according to a census conducted in 1931 by the British Mandate authorities had a population of 740.

Adanim (Hebrew: עֲדָנִים, lit. 'Delights') is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain near Hod HaSharon, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 509.

Hod HaSharon (Hebrew: הוֹד הַשָּׁרוֹן, lit. "Splendor of the Sharon plain") is a city in the Central District of Israel. The city is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the Mediterranean coastline, south of Kfar Saba, southeast of Raanana, and northeast of Ramat HaSharon. Hod HaSharon was officially formed and made a local council in 1964 by the merging of four moshavot: Magdiel, Ramatayim, Hadar, and Ramat Hadar. The land area of Hod HaSharon is 19.2 square kilometres (7.4 sq mi), and according to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), in 2021 the city had a total population of 65,363.

Kfar Malal (Hebrew: כְּפַר מַלָּ"ל) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 324.

Hod Hasharon Sokolov railway station is a passenger railway station located at the town boundary of Hod HaSharon and Kfar Saba, Israel. Until July 2018 it was the northern terminus of the suburban line to Beersheba via Tel Aviv. The station was opened on 2 September 2006 as Kfar Saba Merkaz; at the same time, the neighbouring Kfar Saba–Nordau railway station was renamed Hod HaSharon station. On 6 March 2010, both stations were renamed to their present names.The station is located on Sokolov St, at the junction with HaTayasim St. In December 2006, the station served a daily average of 1860 passengers. As part of the extending the Sharon Railway westwards, in July 2018 the rail tracks were extended to the new Ra'anana South railway station from which the railway will be extended in 2020 to the Coastal Railway. This connection will provide a shorter alternative route to Tel Aviv and also enable the possibility of trains passing through the station reaching northern destinations (such as Netanya and Haifa) on the rail network.

Route 531 (Hebrew: כביש 531), is a suburban freeway in the southern Sharon region of Israel, just north of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area. The highway begins at Highway 6 and terminates at the Ayalon Highway with an extension to the Coastal Highway. The highway's easternmost section was constructed in the October 16, 2014, while parts of the extension of the highway to the Ayalon Highway in Herzliya opened starting in 2016.

Sharon Railway (Hebrew: מסילת השרון, romanized: mesilat ha-šaron) is a 12 km double-track railroad in the Sharon plain area of Israel, located in the median of Highway 531. It serves as a connection between the Coastal Railway and the Eastern Railway and runs parallel to the Yarkon Railway which is located approximately 7km to the south. In the vicinity of Ra'anana South interchange (where Highway 531 meets Highway 4), the Sharon Railway passes through a 1.8km long tunnel. The construction of both the highway and the railway started in the early 2000s, and the first station on the new line, Kfar Saba–Nordau, opened on 13 April 2003. The second station, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, opened on 2 September 2006. Two additional stations, Ra'anana South and Ra'anana West, opened on 3 July 2018 as part of a larger construction project to extend Highway 531 to the Coastal Highway. The project also included quadruple-tracking the section of the Coastal Railway between Tel Aviv University and Herzliya, which previously consisted of double-track since the late 1980s. The connection to the Coastal Railway opened on 5 July 2020, with hourly service between Kfar Saba–Nordau and Herzliya. Eventually, the service frequency is expected to be increased and extended to Tel Aviv, making it possible to reduce the travel time between Ra'anana and Tel Aviv Savidor Center from 40 to 20 minutes. Works to electrify the railway began in the fall of 2020 and were completed in late 2021.

The Drom HaSharon Regional Council (Hebrew: מוֹעָצָה אֲזוֹרִית דְּרוֹם הַשָׁרוֹן, translit. Mo'atza Azorit Drom HaSharon, lit. Southern Sharon Regional Council) is a regional council in the Sharon region in central Israel. Its offices are located on Highway 40 near Neve Yarak.

Biyar 'Adas (Arabic: بِيار عدس) was a Palestinian Arab village located 19 km northeast of the city of Tel Aviv. In 1945 the village had a population of 300 and a total land area of 5,492 dunums.
