Roy station

Roy is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States, on the west side of Interstate 15. The population estimate in 2019 was 39,613, an increase of 5.8% from 36,884 at the 2010 census. Roy is part of the Ogden−Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area, and is considered a suburb of nearby Ogden, although some small businesses are present in Roy.

West Haven is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 10,272 at the 2010 census. It was incorporated on July 1, 1991, combining the unincorporated communities of Kanesville and Wilson. West Haven is located approximately 35 miles (56 km) north of Salt Lake City, west of the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah. The confluence of the Weber and Ogden Rivers is located inside the northeastern portion of the city. The city is bordered on the east by Ogden, on the south by Roy, on the west by Hooper, and on the north by Marriott-Slaterville. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. West Haven has a city park which includes a historical monument. Plans provide for a River Parkway Trail that would include a fishing bridge, a pedestrian tunnel under 21st Street, picnic tables, places to rest and points of historical interest. Plans have this trail connect with the Weber County Centennial Trail. The current mayor is Rob Vanderwood who started his term on January 1, 2022.

Ogden-Hinckley Airport (IATA: OGD, ICAO: KOGD, FAA LID: OGD) is a public airport four miles southwest of Ogden, in Weber County, Utah. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2019–2023 categorized it as a commercial service–primary nonhub airport. Formerly Ogden Municipal Airport, it is billed as Utah's busiest municipal airport for private planes.The airport has an FAA control tower with radar approach service by Salt Lake City TRACON.

Hill Aerospace Museum is a military aviation museum located at Hill Air Force Base in Roy, Utah. It is dedicated to the history of the base and aviation in Utah.

The Davis–Weber Canal (also known as the Davis and Weber Counties Canal) is a canal in southern Weber and northern Davis counties in northern Utah, United States, that flows around the north and west sides of Hill Air Force Base (Hill AFB), supplying water from the Weber River to the area.

Sunset is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 5,122 at the 2010 census.Sunset emerged as a distinct place in 1916.

Clinton is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 23,386 at the 2020 United States census, up from 20,426 in 2010 census. Clinton started off as a sleepy farm town and grew rapidly during the 1990s and continues to experience rapid growth, with an estimated population of 23,597 in 2021.

Stevens–Henager College was a private college that closed abruptly in August 2021. It was one of four educational institutions affiliated with the Salt Lake City-based Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE). Established in 1891, the college had campuses in Idaho and Utah. It offered online and on-campus programs for associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees.

Independence University (IU, formerly California College for Health Sciences) was a private online career college headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was the online branch of Stevens–Henager College, and operated four schools: the School of Healthcare, the School of Business, the School of Technology, and the School of Graphic Arts. IU was founded by Carl Barney and owned and operated by the Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE). Independence university was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges but the accreditor has begun withdrawing its accreditation because the university allegedly "failed to demonstrate successful student achievement by maintaining acceptable rates of student graduation and employment." In 2021, IU canceled classes scheduled to start May 10. On August 1, 2021, Independence University closed its doors permanently.

Fort Buenaventura, located in west Ogden, Utah, United States, was the first permanent Anglo settlement in the Great Basin. Built just east of the Weber River in 1846 by Miles Goodyear, the fort and its surrounding lands were purchased by Mormon settlers in 1847 and renamed Brownsville (then later Ogden). Following flooding along the river in 1850, the fort was abandoned. In 1980, Fort Buenaventura State Park was opened, which included a replica of the fort at its original location. In 2002, ownership of the park was transferred to Weber County, which now operates the fort and surrounding recreational facilities.
