Del Rio is an unincorporated, urban community in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. It lies between Tampa and Temple Terrace, near the Hillsborough River. The community is known as "The Fishbowl" to locals because many streets in the area are named for fish. Del Rio is included within the East Lake-Orient Park census-designated place.

C. Leon King High School is a Tampa, Florida public high school named in honor of C. Leon King, a member of the Hillsborough County Board of Public Instruction for 18 years. It opened in 1960 with 58 faculty members and 960 students. It is located at 6815 North 56th Street in Tampa, Florida 33610. King High School, a part of Hillsborough County Public Schools, is a traditional/hybrid magnet school. It has one of five International Baccalaureate programs in Hillsborough County, Florida. The IB program of King began in July 1994. Ninety eight percent of IB seniors earned the IB Diploma in 2014—one of the highest rates in the United States. For the 2010–2011 school year, King High School received an A grade in education overall. As of 2017, King High has been rated a "B". Its student population was 1,889 in 2014–15 and the attendance rate was 92% in 2005.

The Temple Terrace Public Library serves 250,000 patrons a year with a selection of more than 100,000 volumes and 52 computers. It is the only library in the city of Temple Terrace, FL, and it is part of the Hillsborough County Library Cooperative, along with branches in Tampa, Florida and Plant City, Florida. It is located near several colleges, including the University of South Florida and Florida College, as well as the Museum of Science & Industry in Tampa.

Temple Terrace is an incorporated city in northeastern Hillsborough County, Florida, United States, adjacent to Tampa. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 26,690. It is the third and smallest incorporated municipality in Hillsborough County. (Tampa and Plant City are the others.) Incorporated in 1925, the community is known for its rolling landscape, bucolic Hillsborough River views, and majestic trees; it has the grandest sand live oak trees of any place in central Florida and is a Tree City USA. Temple Terrace was originally planned in the 1920s Mediterranean-Revival golf course community and is one of the first such communities in the United States (planned in 1920). Temple Terrace was named for the then-new hybrid, the Temple orange also called the tangor. It is a cross between the mandarin orange—also called the tangerine—and the common sweet orange; it was named after Florida-born William Chase Temple, one-time owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates, founder of the Temple Cup, and first president of the Florida Citrus Exchange. Temple Terrace was the first place in the United States where the new Temple orange was grown in large quantities. The "terrace" portion of the name refers to the terraced terrain of the area by the river where the city was founded. One of the original houses also had a terraced yard with a lawn sloping, in tiers, toward the river.

Temple Crest is a neighborhood and district located northeast of Tampa, Florida. The population was 8,621 at the 2000 census.

Florida College is a private Christian college in Temple Terrace, Florida. It offers a variety of bachelor's degrees.Founded in 1946, Florida College now draws its staff, faculty, and the majority of its students from non-institutional churches of Christ. The college is recognized among these churches and the community as a training center for ministers while also providing accredited programs in several high demand fields of study. The college is an autonomous educational entity not beholden to any corporate religious body; it accepts no monetary contributions from any congregation or organized religious bodies and its board members serve as individuals rather than as official representatives of any such entity. The emphasis Florida College places on its Christian roots is expressed in its traditional chapel services held on weekdays during the academic calendar year. All members of the board of directors and all faculty members are active members in a church of Christ as prescribed by the college charter. All students take biblical courses as part of their liberal arts undergraduate curriculum.

East Lake (or East Lake Park) is an unincorporated community in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. It is combined with Orient Park to form the census-designated place of East Lake-Orient Park. According to Rand McNally in 2002, the population estimate for the community was 3,400. The community is served by ZIP Code 33610.

NetPark Tampa Bay is a business park in the East Lake-Orient Park neighborhood of Tampa, Florida, United States. The complex, which primarily houses offices, is a redevelopment of the former East Lake Square Mall, a shopping mall built by Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation in 1976. The mall's anchor stores were JCPenney, Montgomery Ward, and Belk-Lindsey, with H. J. Wilson Co. joining in 1980. H. J. Wilson Co. became Service Merchandise in 1985, and Belk-Lindsey was sold to Dillard's in 1992. After a period of decline in the 1990s which included the closure of all four anchor stores, the mall was closed entirely in 1998 and officially reopened as NetPark Tampa Bay a year later.

Cody Fowler House is a historic home built in Temple Terrace, Florida in 1922. It was designed by M. Leo Elliott. The house is located at 313 Sleepy Hollow Avenue.The Fowler House is one of eight original Mediterranean Revival style homes designed for the developers of Temple Terrace by Elliott. It was built for Cody Fowler, an attorney and former president of the American Bar Association whose mother, Maude Cody Fowler, was one of the founders of Temple Terrace and a Vice-Mayor. Tampa's Fowler Avenue, one of the main thorough fares of Temple Terrace, is named after Maude for her contributions to the development and establishment of Temple Terrace as a prominent community of the Tampa Bay Area.

Montu is an inverted roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. Designed by Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, it is the park's second roller coaster designed by that company following the success of Kumba, which opened 3 years prior. When the ride opened on May 16, 1996, it was the world's tallest and fastest inverted roller coaster, a title it has since conceded to Alpengeist at sister park Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The ride stands 150 feet (46 m) tall and reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour (97 km/h).

River Grove (or Rivergrove) is a neighborhood within the city limits of Tampa, Florida. It along with Woodland Terrace and Live Oaks Square are commonly referred to by residents as Comanche, a name derived from a street that goes through the neighborhoods.
