High Rocks

High Rocks railway station is a station on the Spa Valley Railway in High Rocks, East Sussex, England. The original High Rocks Halt opened on 1 June 1907, as part of a London, Brighton and South Coast Railway scheme to boost traffic on its lines. It finally closed on 5 May 1952 due to low traffic (it had been closed from 16 October 1939 to 15 June 1942 as a wartime economy measure). The rest of the line soldiered on with ever-decreasing services, to be finally closed to all traffic on 10 August 1985. The line through the station site was re-opened by the Spa Valley Railway in 1997. The new High Rocks station opened in August 1998, having been built about 100 yards west of the original halt closed in 1952.

Friezland Wood is a woodland in Kent, England, near Tunbridge Wells. It covers a total area of 7.69 hectares (19.00 acres). It is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust.

Eridge Green is a 8.4-hectare (21-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-east of Crowborough in East Sussex. It is part of the 44 hectares (110 acres) Eridge Rocks nature reserve, which is managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust.This is ancient woodland on clay with outcrops of sandstone which form cliffs up to ten metres high. Flora on the rocks include Tunbridge filmy fern, the mosses Dicranum scottianum and Orthodontium gracile and the liverworts Scapania umbrosa, Scapania gracilis and Harpanthus scutatus. There is access from Warren Farm Lane.

The Spa Valley Railway (SVR) is a standard gauge heritage railway in England that runs from Tunbridge Wells West railway station in Tunbridge Wells to High Rocks, Groombridge, and Eridge, where it links with the Oxted Line. It crosses the Kent and East Sussex border, covering a distance of 5 miles (8 km), along the former Wealden Line between Tunbridge Wells Central and Lewes. The railway headquarters is also at Tunbridge Wells West railway station.

Holmewood House School is an IAPS independent, co-educational preparatory school for boys and girls aged 3–13, in Langton Green, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The building is a Decimus Burton mansion, originally called Mitchells, rebuilt in 1837 after a fire.

St Paul's Church is a Church of England parish church in Rusthall, Kent, England. It is a Grade II listed building.

Rusthall is a village located approximately 2 miles to the west of the spa town of Tunbridge Wells in Kent. The village grew up around a large property called "Rusthall" located on Rusthall Common. Rusthall is a modern village, the majority built after the trains arrived in Royal Tunbridge Wells during the mid-1800s. It was created as a tourist spot, with visitors coming up from the station in charabancs to see the 'Toad Rock', a natural rock formation which looks like a sitting toad, resting on an outcrop of sandstone. Other outcrops can be seen throughout Rusthall Common.

Rusthall Common is a 2.7-hectare (6.7-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Rusthall, a suburb of Tunbridge Wells in Kent. It is a Geological Conservation Review site. It is owned by the Manor of Rusthall and managed by Tunbridge Wells Commons Conservators.This Quaternary site is important for its examples of sandstone weathering, especially Toad Rock, which stands on a narrow base moulded by periglacial wind erosion.There is access to the site from Rusthall Road.

Rusthall FC is an English football club located in Rusthall, near Royal Tunbridge Wells, in Kent. The club plays in the Southern Counties East League Premier Division. Rusthall spent most of its history in the Tunbridge Wells League before entering the Kent County Football League in 1983–84. After winning three championships at this level, the club was accepted into the newly formed Kent Invicta Football League for the inaugural 2011–12 season.

St. Mark's Church is the Church of England parish church for the Broadwater Down area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England, in the Diocese of Rochester. Built in the 19th-century Gothic Revival style by Robert Lewis Roumieu, it is a Grade II* listed building.

Langton Green is a village in the borough of Tunbridge Wells, England, lying around two miles west of the town centre along the A264. It is located within the parish of Speldhurst although it has its own church on the village green—the Grade II*-listed All Saints, built in 1862–63 by George Gilbert Scott. There is also a village primary school, Langton Green CP School, and The Hare public house. The village is considered to be affluent and is represented locally by Conservative councillors. There is a private school called Holmewood House located in the village and the former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Lord Condon used to live there until 2018. The table-top football game, Subbuteo, was invented and produced for many years in Langton Green.Langton Green has a primary school, a local sport association and a popular, modern village hall.

Tunbridge Wells West is a railway station located in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It is one of two railway stations in Tunbridge Wells constructed by rival companies. The other, Tunbridge Wells Central was opened in 1845 by the South Eastern Railway (SER). Tunbridge Wells West was closed to mainline passenger services in 1985. A new station on part of the site has been opened as a heritage railway line opened in 1996. It stands next to the original engine shed which has been restored to use. The line is called the Spa Valley Railway.
