Fraserburgh

Fraserburgh Town House is a municipal building in Saltoun Square, Fraserburgh, Scotland. The building, which was the headquarters of Fraserburgh Burgh Council, is a Category B listed building.

The World's End is an historic townhouse in Fraserburgh, Scotland, standing on Dalyrmple Street. Category B listed, it dates to around 1767. The structure is two storeys and basement, constructed of squared heathen stone with freestone dressings and quoins. It has a shaped Dutch gable with an arched window and ball finials. Steps lead up to a pedimented door piece. A wooden porch present in the 1970s has since been removed. The building's first known owner was Charles Gordon in 1766. It also once belonged to the Gordons of Glenbuchat (or Glenbucket). Alexander Forbes, 4th Lord Forbes of Pitsligo, hid here after the Battle of Culloden.

Fraserburgh Lifeboat Station is located at the harbour town of Fraserburgh, in the NE corner of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. A lifeboat was first stationed here in 1805, later becoming the first Scottish station of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), in 1858. Since 2002, the station has operated a Trent-class All-weather lifeboat, 14-34 Willie and May Gall (ON 1259).

Dalyrmple Hall is a building in Fraserburgh, Scotland, standing on Dalyrmple Street at its junction with Station Brae. Category C listed, in the Scottish baronial style, it dates to 1881. Its architects were Aberdeen-based Jenkins & Marr. The building's prominent feature is its five-storey tower, extended in angular glass.

Fraserburgh railway station is a former railway station that once served the town of Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.

Bellslea Park is a football ground in Fraserburgh in north-east Scotland, which is the home ground of Highland Football League side Fraserburgh. It is located on Seaforth Street in the centre of the town and has a capacity of 3,000 with 480 seated.

Fraserburgh Old Parish Church is a congregation of the Church of Scotland in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. The present building was erected in 1803 at the head of the High Street, on the site of a 16th-century church. The church is a category B listed building.

Kinnaird Head (Scottish Gaelic: An Ceann Àrd, "high headland") is a headland projecting into the North Sea, within the town of Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, on the east coast of Scotland. The 16th-century Kinnaird Castle was converted in 1787 for use as the Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, the first lighthouse in Scotland to be lit by the Commissioners of Northern Lights. Kinnaird Castle and the nearby Wine Tower were described by W. Douglas Simpson as two of the nine castles of the Knuckle, referring to the rocky headland of north-east Aberdeenshire. The lighthouse is a category A listed building. and the Wine Tower (perhaps from Wynd Tower). is a scheduled monument. The buildings around the base of the lighthouse are the work of Robert Stevenson.

German submarine U-3 was a Type IIA U-boat laid down at the Deutsche Werke in Kiel on 11 February 1935 as yard number 238. She was commissioned into the Kriegsmarine on 6 August 1936 under the command of Oberleutnant zur See (Oblt.z.S.) Hans Meckel. U-3 carried out a total of five combat patrols; she sank two ships while under the command of Joachim Schepke. During April 1940, she was part of the fleet that supported the German invasion of Norway, Operation Weserübung. As the Type II submarines were too small for combat duty in the Atlantic Ocean, she was assigned to the Baltic for training duties with the 21st U-boat Flotilla, a training outfit.

Fraserburgh Academy is a secondary school in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. It is one of seventeen schools run by Aberdeenshire Council. The current school building was opened in 1962 by H.R.H The Princess Margaret.

Fraserburgh Hospital is a community hospital in Lochpots Road, Fraserburgh, Scotland. It is managed by NHS Grampian.

Broadsea is a community situated in Aberdeenshire in the north east of Scotland. It is a long-standing fishing community at the north edge of Fraserburgh. Christian Watt, author of The Christian Watt Papers, was born and raised in Broadsea. Her memoirs give an insight into the lives in the community during the latter part of the 19th century.
