Qatanna

Har Adar (Hebrew: הַר אֲדָר) is an Israeli settlement organized as a local council in the Seam Zone and the Maccabim sub-region of the West Bank. Founded in 1986, it had a population of 4,108 in 2021. It is located near Abu Ghosh and the Green Line on Road 425, approximately 15 kilometers west of Jerusalem. Har Adar is ranked high on the Israeli socio-economic scale, at 9/10. Har Adar was initially built adjacent to the Green Line but is now largely located within the West Bank.The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

The St. Cleophas Church or St. Cleopas Church also called Emmaus Church or the Basilica of St. Cleophas, is a Franciscan Catholic church located in the Palestinian village of Al-Qubeiba in the West Bank. The site is one of the three major candidates identified with Emmaus, where, according to the New Testament, Jesus revealed himself to two of his disciples shortly after his resurrection. About half a mile west of the church lies a Franciscan lodge.

On the morning of 26 September 2017, a Palestinian gunman opened fire at Israeli security guards at the entrance gate of Har Adar, an Israeli settlement and affluent residential border community of Jerusalem located largely on the other side of the green line within the West Bank. Three Israeli security guards were killed and a fourth was injured. The gunman was shot dead by the remaining guards. The Israeli authorities described the attack as an 'act of terrorism'.

Al-Qubeiba (Arabic: القبيبة) is a Palestinian town in the Jerusalem Governorate of Palestine, located 2 kilometers northwest of Jerusalem in the central West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics in 2010, the village had a population of 3,321. Al-Qubeiba lies at an altitude of 783m to 795m above sea-level. It is located in a conflict area near the border with Israel between Ramallah and Jerusalem. The settlement of Giv'on HaHadashah lies 5 km southeast of al-Qubeiba. It is surrounded by the town of Biddu (east), Beit 'Anan (northwest), Qatanna (southwest), and Kharayib Umm al-Lahim (west). Unlike the surrounding region, al-Qubeiba has large areas covered with pine and olive trees.

Ma'ale HaHamisha (Hebrew: מַעֲלֵה הַחֲמִישָּׁה, lit. Ascent of the Five) is a kibbutz in central Israel. Located in the Judean hills just off the Jerusalem–Tel Aviv highway, It falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 845.

Beit 'Anan (Arabic: بيت عنان) is a Palestinian village in the Quds Governorate, located northwest of Jerusalem. In 2010, it had a population of 4,982. Some residents of Beit 'Anan hold Israeli identity cards, while others hold Palestinian identity cards.

Biddu (Arabic: بدّو) is a Palestinian town in the Jerusalem Governorate, located 6 kilometers northwest of Jerusalem in the West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 6,368 in 2006. Biddu is at an altitude of 806m to 834m. Giv'on HaHadashah lies 2 km east of Biddu.

Kiryat Anavim (Hebrew: קִרְיַת עֲנָבִים, lit. City of Grapes) is a kibbutz in the Judean Hills of Israel. It was the first kibbutz established in the Judean Hills. It is located west of Jerusalem, and falls under the jurisdiction of the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 455.

Beit Duqqu (Arabic: بيت دقّو) is a Palestinian village in the Jerusalem Governorate, located northwest of Jerusalem in the central West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 1,600 in 2006.

Beit Surik (Arabic: بيت سوريك) is a Palestinian village in the Jerusalem Governorate, located 12 kilometers Northwest of Jerusalem in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 3,818 in 2006.

Yedida (Hebrew: יְדִידָה, lit. 'Friend') is a special education institute and village in central Israel. Located between Abu Ghosh and Ma'ale HaHamisha, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 224.

Kiryat Ye'arim Youth Village (Hebrew: כפר הנוער קריית יערים, romanized: Kfar HaNoar Kiryat Ye'arim) is a youth village in central Israel. Located near Kiryat Ye'arim and to the north of Abu Ghosh, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 169.
