The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston (formerly the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Boston) is an ecclesiastical territory or metropolis of the Greek Orthodox Church in the New England region of the United States. It is led by a metropolitan bishop and is part of the Archdiocese of America which itself is under the control of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. On December 20, 2002, the territory was elevated from diocese to metropolis status, although its leader had been elevated to the role of metropolitan six years earlier in November 1997. The Annunciation Cathedral in the City of Boston serves as the head church, with metropolitan offices located in Brookline, Massachusetts alongside Hellenic College and Holy Cross. Metropolitan Methodios has led the territory since his enthronement as Bishop of Boston on April 8, 1984, following his election to that post by the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Phanar, Constantinople, Turkey. In early October 2020 Metropolitan Methodios was suspended by the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate until Christmas for reasons undisclosed.The Metropolis operates the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in New Hampshire, which offers camping and spiritual retreats for families and individuals.

Appeal to the Great Spirit is a 1908 equestrian statue by Cyrus Dallin, located in front of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. It portrays a Native American on horseback facing skyward, his arms spread wide in a spiritual request to the Great Spirit. It was the last of Dallin's four prominent sculptures of Indigenous people known as The Epic of the Indian, which also include A Signal of Peace (1890), The Medicine Man (1899), and Protest of the Sioux (1904). David Lloyd George also had a statuette, which he received in association with a meeting with Sioux Chief Two Eagle during an October 1923 tour of the US and Canada

Lime Green Icicle Tower is a 2011 glass and steel sculpture by American artist Dale Chihuly. Housed in the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston, Massachusetts, it has been on display in the Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Family Courtyard since the 2011 exhibit "Chihuly: Through the Looking Glass". The station airs over 100 music and talk programs during a typical semester, encompassing a large variety of musical and topical genres. Despite its signal coverage within Boston, its 104.9 frequency collides with nearby WBOQ, which covers the North Shore area.
