Al-Batuf Regional Council (Arabic: البطوف, Hebrew: מועצה אזורית אל-בטוף, Mo'atza Azorit al-Batuf) is a regional council located on the southern fringe of the Beit Netofa Valley North of Nazareth within the Northern District of Israel. It was formerly part Nof HaGalil regional council until 2000 and consists of the following four rural Israeli Palestinian Arab villages. According to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, al-Batuf had a population of 6,700 in 2010.

Rumat al-Heib (Arabic: رُمة الهـَيـْب; Hebrew: רומת אל-הייב) is a Bedouin village in northern Israel. Located near Nazareth in the Lower Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of the al-Batuf Regional Council. In 2021 its population was 2,154.

Beit Rimon (Hebrew: בֵּית רִמּוֹן, lit. House of the Pomegranate) is a kibbutz located in the Lower Galilee Regional Council in Israel. It consists of a core kibbutz and a residential expansion. It is located in the Lower Galilee on a ridge of Mount Tur'an at a height of 400 meters above sea level. As of 2021 it had a population of 908.

Uzeir (Arabic: عزير; Hebrew: עֻזֵיר) is an Arab village in northern Israel. Located near Nazareth Illit in the Lower Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of al-Batuf Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 3,432.

Kfar Kedem (Hebrew: כפר קדם) is a tourist center in Israel which reconstructs the everyday life in the Galilee 2000 years ago, during the Mishnah period. Kfar Kedem is located on Route 77, next to the Hamovil intersection. It was established in 1992 in the Hoshaya settlement by Menachem Goldberg. The center includes about 4 acres of vegetation and trees native to the ancient Land of Israel. The site reconstructs Jewish life in the Galilee during the Mishnah period. It is located next to Sepphoris, which was the home base of the Sanhedrin (the highest Jewish religious court), its scholars [rabbis], and their leader, Judah the Prince, one of the compilers of the Mishnah. The site opened in 1992. All visitors start the tour with a short lecture, and immediately afterwards they don Tzitzit, a 4-cornered shawl and a scarf to cover their heads.

Hoshaya (Hebrew: הוֹשַׁעְיָה) is a national-religious community settlement in northern Israel. Located to the south-east of Shefa-'Amr, on Route 77 between Hamovil Interchange and the Golani Interchange, three kilometers from the Beit Rimon Interchange, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021, it had a population of 2,092.

Shikhin (Hebrew: שִׁיחִין, variant spelling שׁוּחִין), known in Greek as Asochis, was an ancient Jewish village in Galilee which was abandoned in the fourth century CE. It was situated right next to the regional capital, Sepphoris, and its ruins have been discovered about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) northwest of Nazareth. As of May 2012, the site is under excavation. So far, evidence of extensive pottery work and a synagogue have been uncovered.

The Murder of Oleg Shaichat was a kidnapping and murder attack which occurred on July 28, 2003, in which two members of the Arab-Israeli terrorist cell "Free People of the Galilee" abducted and murdered Israeli soldier Corporal Oleg Shaichat.

Highway 77 is an east-west highway in northern Israel. It crosses the Lower Galilee in the region of the Beit Netofa Valley. The road leads from the Tel Qashish Interchange nearby Yokneam Illit to Tiberias. It is 48 km long. Its western section, from the Tel Qashish Interchange to the Golani Interchange is a freeway.

The Tzippori Synagogue, also known as the Sepphoris Synagogue, is a former ancient Jewish synagogue, now an archaeological site and a national park, that was discovered in Sepphoris, a Roman-era Jewish city in the Galilee, in northwestern Israel.

Gath-hepher or Gat Hefer (Hebrew: גַּת הַחֵֽפֶר) was a border town in ancient Israel. It was the home of the prophet Jonah. The etymology of the name is literally "wine-press of the digging" and is mentioned twice in the Bible at Joshua 19:13 and 2 Kings 14:25. In Joshua, a copying error has resulted in the form Gittah-hepher.Jerome in Roman Times (Commentary on Jonah) describes the town as "an inconsiderable village" and tells that the tomb of Jonah was nearby. Similarly the medieval geographer Benjamin of Tudela also relates the tomb of Jonah in his travels to the area. Today the site, at Latitude 32° 44' 30" N and Longitude 35° 19' 30" E in the Galilee, is a small set of ruins on a hilltop near the Arab village of el-Meshed five kilometres north of Nazareth and one kilometre from Canna. The supposed tomb of Jonah is still pointed out by locals.

The St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church (Hebrew: כנסיית בית ברתולומאוס השליח Latin: Ecclesia Sancti Bartholomei Apostoli) is the name given to a Catholic church administered by the Franciscan order in Kafr Kanna in Israel, built in honor of Cana, the place where Scripture says was the hometown of the apostle St. Bartholomew. The church was founded in 1885. Bartholomew is one of the apostles who according to the Bible were present at the miracle of the fish: "Later, by the Sea of Tiberias, Jesus again revealed Himself to the disciples. He made Himself known in this way: Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together" (John 21: 1–2) The front of the church features four pillars and a round window above the main doorway. In the center is a Latin inscription: "DOM S NATHANAELIS BARTHOLOMAEI APOSTOLI" (which means The apostle Nathanael Bartholomew). The altar stands on a raised platform, and in front, two pairs of small-sized columns have Corinthian capitals, and a bas-relief depicting the meeting of Nathanael and Philip the Apostle. Nearby is a small cemetery.
