Bardolino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) west of Venice and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Verona.

Lazise is a comune (municipality) and town in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 kilometres (75 miles) west of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 miles) northwest of Verona. It is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,213 and an area of 65.0 square kilometres (25.1 sq mi). This geographical location empowers a position of great landscape value, but it also features elements of great architectural value and of great historical importance. As well as these peculiarities, Lazise can rely on the presence of many attractions: a thermal spring situated in Colà, two amusement parks (Canevaworld and Gardaland, this latter situated partly on the territory of Castelnuovo del Garda, where it is based, and partly on the territory of Lazise) and an extensive hilly agricultural landscape. Lazise records about 3.5 million tourist visits every year, figures that place it at 12th place in Italy among tourist destinations, and the first Italian lake destination. The municipality of Lazise contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Colà and Pacengo. Lazise borders the following municipalities: Bardolino, Bussolengo, Castelnuovo del Garda, Padenghe sul Garda, Pastrengo, Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione.

Cavaion Veronese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) west of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,459 and an area of 12.9 square kilometres (5.0 sq mi).The municipality of Cavaion Veronese contains the frazione (subdivision) Sega. Cavaion Veronese borders the following municipalities: Affi, Bardolino, Pastrengo, Rivoli Veronese, and Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella.

San Zeno di Montagna (Venetian: San Xen de Montagna) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 130 kilometres (81 miles) west of Venice and about 30 km (19 mi) northwest of Verona. San Zeno di Montagna borders the following municipalities: Brenzone, Caprino Veronese, Costermano, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, and Torri del Benaco.

Lake Garda (Italian: Lago di Garda [ˈlaːɡo di ˈɡarda] or (Lago) Benaco [beˈnaːko]; Eastern Lombard: Lach de Garda; Venetian: Ƚago de Garda) is the largest lake in Italy. It is a popular holiday location in northern Italy, between Brescia and Milan to the west, and Verona and Venice to the east. The lake cuts into the edge of the Italian Alps, particularly the Alpine sub-ranges of the Garda Mountains and the Brenta Group. Glaciers formed this alpine region at the end of the last ice age. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the provinces of Brescia (to the south-west), Verona (south-east) and Trentino (north).

Caprino Veronese borders the following municipalities: Affi, Brentino Belluno, Costermano, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Rivoli Veronese, and San Zeno di Montagna.

The Battle of Lake Benacus was fought along the banks of Lake Garda in northern Italy, which was known to the Romans as Benacus, in 268 or early 269 AD, between the army under the command of the Roman Emperor Claudius II and the Germanic tribes of the Alamanni and Juthungi.

Rivoli Veronese is a little town (comune) in the Province of Verona, Veneto, Italy, located on the hills overlooking the right bank of the river Adige, 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Verona.

Pastrengo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) west of Venice and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,486 and an area of 9.0 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi). The municipality of Pastrengo contains the frazione (subdivision) Piovezzano. Pastrengo borders the following municipalities: Bardolino, Bussolengo, Cavaion Veronese, Lazise, Pescantina, and Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. Pastrengo is known for the Battle of Pastrengo which was fought between the Piedmontese and Austrian armies on 30 April 1848, in the course of the First Italian War of Independence. The local parish church is the Parrocchia Esaltazione della Santa Croce.

Oblivion: The Black Hole is a roller coaster at Gardaland, close to Lake of Garda. The ride is one of many Dive Coaster models to be manufactured by Swiss roller coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard. Since its opening, it became the first vertical drop roller coaster in Italy. The ride is considered the 'sister' to the iconic Oblivion roller coaster at the also Merlin owned Alton Towers. The ride also (maybe unintentionally) shares part of its name with The Black Hole, a Jet star 2 rollercoaster that operated in the X sector section of Alton towers on the current site of The Smiler.

Mammut (Italian for Mammoth) is a Mine Train steel roller coaster from the company Vekoma located in Gardaland, Italy. It is the third roller coaster of this company in the park and is the largest coaster for families at the park. Mammut was inaugurated in 2008. The 5,000 m2 large area, where this attraction was built, was previously occupied by a complex of paid games.

Raptor is a steel roller coaster at the Gardaland amusement park in Lake Garda, Italy. The ride is a prototype Wing Coaster design by Swiss roller coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard. Raptor opened to the public on April 1, 2011. The ride begins from an underground station and features two water splash elements. The layout features several roll overs. The trains hang over both sides of the track like X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain but the seats do not spin.
